Sunghoon pov
I entered the house only to be welcomed by the smell of something cooking as I walked over to the kitchen and saw Sunoo trying to cook.
"Such a good housewife, aren't you?" I chuckled, hugging his waist from the back as I planted a kiss on his nape.
"I'm not your housewife, how many times do I need to tell you that~" he whined, turning off the stove as he turned to face me.
"You can't deny it, you'd make a perfect housewife." I said as I lifted his chin and levelled his eyes to look into mine.
"Shut the fuck u-" he paused, covering his mouth as his eyes widened in shock.
Looks like someone knows they're dead.
"Say that again" I said, my eyes darkening as my grip on his waist tightened.
"I won't. I know how much you hate cursing.." he mumbled, biting his lip in fear.
"I told you to repeat. When I ask you to do something, you're supposed to do it." I demanded, dominance laced in my tone.
"I.. I'm sorryy" he apologized in a whiny tone, probably out of things to say.
"A simple sorry won't get you out this time, Sunoo. You've been misbehaving and getting away with it quite a lot recently since I've been busy with work. You're not getting away this time." I said as my lips curled into a smirk, my hands making their way to the hem of his hoodie and touching his bare skin causing a whimper to escape his mouth.
Riki pov
"Rikii!!" I heard him call out as I turned my body to see him, running towards me as the hair hit his hair, swaying it side to side.
"There you are, I missed seeing you so energetic" I chuckled, pulling him for a hug as I ruffled his hair.
"I have to say... I was sick for quite a while.." he smiled as he looked up at me with an innocent glint in his eyes.
So pretty.
"So.. what's our plan for today?" he asked.
"Just a little drive around the city, we can get some ice cream, stop at the Han river and enjoy the view for a while" I replied as I took his hand and began walking to my car.
"You know my preferences damn well, don't you?" he mumbled, looking at his feet to hide his blushing face.
"I'm your best friend for a reason" I said.
"S-shut up.." his smile slowly faded as it turned into a pout.
"Did I say something wrong~?"
"Is it that you like me~?" I teased, slowly caressing his elbow.
"N-no.. I don't like you." he replied as he looked down at his hands, fidgeting with them.
"Stop lying to me~.. Just admit you wanna kiss me~"
"I don't like you, riki." his tone got quite stern and serious, indicating that he wasn't playing along.
"Admit it, love~" I continued teasing him, my tone getting flirtier.
He suddenly looked down at his hands, fidgeting with his fingers as he let out an exhausted sigh.
"Is someone getting too shy to admit their feelings~?" I teased again, unbothered by the way he looked so emotional as I was simply enjoying his flustered and nervous state.
"F-fine.. I-I do.. Like y-you.." he stuttered, sniffling as he choked up.
"Taki, look at me." I demanded softly, placing my finger under his chin as I gently lifted it.
He looked into my eyes and I noticed his, tears flowing down his cheeks but he still looked at beautiful as ever. I cupped his cheek with my hand and asked, "How long?".
"S-since 11th g-grade.." he murmured like a scared child.
"Why didn't you confess earlier then?" I asked again in a comforting voice, making sure I didn't make him think I was mad at him for allowing himself to confess his feelings.
"I-I was afraid I'd lose y-you.. I didn't wanna ruin our friendship.." he answered between his sobs, wiping his tears away with his palm.
"You'll never lose me. I promise." I replied as I leaned closer to him, rubbing his cheek with my thumb.
"I love you.. riki.. I really love you.." he confessed, gulping as he sobbed harder, trying to look down again but was unable to due to my finger holding his chin up.
I immediately pulled him into my arms, wrapping them around his waist as I began stroking his hair in a comforting and soft manner. "Shh.. let it all out.. it's okay." I whispered before I felt his face nuzzle into my neck, tears still streaming down his face.
"Now, can I tell you another thing?" I asked as placed a small kiss on his forehead.
"Y-yes..?" he mumbled in response.
"I love you too." I whispered as I lifted his face up from his chin and looked into his puffy eyes.
"R-really..?" he asked, looking at me with a glint of hope in his eyes.
"Yes." I replied.
He suddenly moved away, slowly taking my hands off his waist as he stuttered, "But.. I-I don't deserve you, Niki.."
"What makes you think that?" I asked, clearly shocked from his sudden contradiction. "I love you a lot, Taki. I don't want anyone else." I continued, pulling him closer by his nape.
"You deserve better. You'll find someone like me, better than me.." he replied, still stubborn about his opinion.
"I don't want anyone like you, I want you" I replied, pulling him closer as I cupped my free hand over his cheek, pressing my mouth against his. His lips warm and soft against mine, as he slowly kissed me back. I pulled him closer, moving my lips against his as I kept wanting more and more of this blissful moment but he reluctantly pulled away.
"I-I need to catch my breath.." he whispered in a shy tone, making me smirk.
"I'll be your boyfriend.." I said as I pulled his face closer and rested his forehead against mine.
"I didn't even ask but.. thank you."
