The harsh beams of sunlight hit Jungwon's eyelids as he stepped out of the car. He covered his eyes instinctively, groaning.

He heard a chuckle from behind him and a hand gently pushed his waist further, coaxing him to step forward.

"Baby, it's not even so bad. You're overreacting." Jay said in a soft voice, picking Jungwon up in his arms.

Jay carried Jungwon down the huge garden, to the door of the mansion in front of them.

It was almost fall, and Halloween was only a month away. Jungwon had requested to spend Halloween together, and Jay had booked a huge farmhouse for them on the outskirts of town. To avoid boredom and loneliness, Jungwon invited his friend, Sunoo to stay with them for the holiday. And of course, wherever Sunoo is, Sunghoon is sure to follow. The two of them are inseparable.

As soon as Jay stepped in through the door, he was greeted by silence. He let Jungwon down on his feet before taking off his shoes.

He stepped further in, the faint aroma of Cardamom filling his nostrils. He was about to head upstairs when he caught a strange glimpse from the corner of his eye. He was about to brush it off at first but then he heard Jungwon's voice.

"Sunoo!"

Sunoo emerged from the kitchen, standing against the refrigerator as Sunghoon corners him. The boy's eyes widened in embarrassment and he pushed Sunghoon away, heading to Jungwon.

"When did you both-"

Sunoo was silenced by Jungwon's sudden hug, his eyes immediately softening before his arms wrapped back around Jungwon's waist.

"I can't believe it's been four months," Jungwon said in a hushed tone, the weight of the passing time heavy in the air.

"I understand," Sunoo replied softly, his voice filled with empathy.

They slowly broke the hug, still smiling at each other before a voice interrupted their moment.

"Ugh, no hugging boys. Sunoo can only hug one person, and that's me," Sunghoon playfully declared.

Sunghoon possessively drew Sunoo closer by the waist, smiling at Jungwon.

Jungwon groaned, rolling his eyes. He turned to Jay with an annoyed expression.

"Can I punch your friend?"

Jay snickered, "As you please."

Time skip

After they were done with dinner, everyone got busy with their tasks.

Sunoo was all snuggled up, watching a movie with Sunghoon in their room.

Jungwon was taking a tour of the farmhouse.

And Jay was nowhere to be found.

The farmhouse was absolutely beautiful, everything about it was elegant and luxurious. But something about the beautiful backyard garden had caught Jungwon's eye.

Jungwon was looking for Jay to show him how beautiful their backyard garden was. He went to the living room, the kitchen, and the bedrooms, but couldn't find Jay. Where could he be?
