*3rd POV*
Jun had called out to the others that he had found Alex. Everyone, around his area, had come running to run. When everyone was there they had surrounded and pulled him into a bone-crunching hug. This ended waking Alex backup.
"WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING TO ME?!" Alex yelled. "I WAS TRYING TO SLEEP!"
Everyone laughed and hugged Alex tighter. Once they let him down, Yuki walk up behind Alex and slapped the back of his head. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR, YUKI-BAKA"
"That's for scaring us and not coming to practice." Yuki says while Jun puts Alex in a headlock and rubs his head.
"Did you forget? You have to train for the scrimmage tomorrow!" Jun yells. Alex sweat drops.
"You guys underestimate me too much." Alex says with the area around him changing dramatically.
"U-UM ALEX! THERE'S SOMETHING UNNATURAL COMING FROM YOU!" Sawamura yells jumping behind Furuya. Everyone laughs while Alex just keeps glaring. Jun carries Alex back to their dorm and sets him on his bed.
*Alex's POV at the Last Inning of the scrimmage, Furuya has already made it to the regulars.*
I knew I wasn't myself right now but, I have to fight for my team. I was third up to bat. There's two outs, runner on first. I put my batting gloves on and grab my helmet. I walk to the batter's box. I decide to use the left box. I hold my hand up to signal I was getting ready.
"Tanba, don't hold back." I say looking straight into his eyes. "You got that?! DON'T HOLD BACK JUST BECAUSE WHAT HAPPENED TO MY FAMILY!" I yell.
Tanba just shakes his head 'yes', shocked I had brought my family up. He brings his left leg up and slams it into the ground, facing home plate. 'It's a forkball, I should got for it' I thought. I move my hands on the bat so it's positioned as if I was playing golf. I hear the clank of the bat, I was about to take off but, it was a foul.
"Dammit" I say under my breathe. Tanba wines up his next pitch. 'It's a curveball that drops' I think to myself. I ended up swinging like I played golf again. I decide to speak up: "Oi! Tanba! stop throwing low balls! I hate swinging like this! Go for the inside!" I say with a smirks but, what surprised me was his next pitch. It was a fastball straight down the middle. I quickly fix my grip on the bat and slam my right foot down. I swing with all my force. It goes flying straight down the foul line, pass first. Coach calls it a foul. I grunt. I was sure that was going to the center field. I hold my hand up, in signal to hold on a minute.
"May I switch side?" I ask coach. He hesitantly nods and move into the right box. Everyone lets out a surprised gasp. I just chuckle with everyone expressions. They should've seen this coming. Tanba wines up his arm and before he even pitched it I know what it's going to be. It's an outside pitch, which for most people are impossible to hit. I plant my feet firmly in the ground and swing with all my might. I hear the sweet sound of the bat hitting the ball. I watch as the ball flies over the fence. I jog my bases, along with the batter in first, with my fist in the air. The scored was 17-10, now, the upperclassmen in the lead. The next batter gets out making it three outs. But, the bright side was, I finally get to pitch. I walk to the mound and pick up the white bag.
(SORRY: its been awhile since I last played baseball So I don't know what it's called)
I do signals saying I was going to throw a highball but, my catcher just stares at me confused, "May I have a timeout?" I ask Coach Kataoka. He nods and my catcher runs up to me.
~Time skip to pitch because I wanna keep the outcome a secret until revealed ^_^~
I could tell my catcher was nervous about the pitch I had discussed with him. But I wasn't the slightest. I wined up my right arm, ready to through my pitch, and slam my left leg down, facing home plate. In a blink of an eye, It moves down then back up. For example, it's a fork ball that moves up after it passes home plate. The ball had a very high speed. The catch had tried to catch it but it went zooming past barely missing Coach Kataoka's face. The ball was implanted into the fence, leaving a dent. I, for the first time since I had come here, saw shock in Coach Kataoka's face. It slowly turned into a smirk.
"Moore, you made it to the regulars. Go to the outfield for now." Coach Kataoka says. I jog out to the outfield, ready for anything.
~Another Time Skip because I'm in a hurry~
There it is, the perfect hit straight towards the fence. I smirk to myself. I climb the fence and balance myself on top. At the last second I jump, causing myself to fall off the fence, and catch the ball. I land on my back causing me to grit my teeth. 'That's the third out, so someone just come pick me up and carry me to my dorm' I thought. I sign and hold up my glove, while I still lay on the ground. I hear couch call a faint 'out' and I relax. From what I heard, the team has already lined up and said 'thank you for this game' and blah blah blah. Right now I could care less because MY FREAKING BACK HURTS. I could hear the faint noise of cleats running. I slowly lift my head to see all the first-years running to me with some of the third-years. At the sight of this, I quickly get up and run while they are climbing over the fence.
"ALEX GET BACK HERE! I NEED TO TEACH YOU SOME MANNER!" I hear Jun faintly yelled.
I take a look behind me and see Kuramochi right behind me. "CURSE YOU KURAMOCHI FOR BEING SO DAMN FAST." I yell I could hear his creepy laugh me and I sweat drop. I soon was tackled by everyone but, I somehow slip past the bodies that were on me. I finally made it out and take a step back to admire the pile of people. After they start to stand back up, I dash to the cafeteria in a chance to escape them but, only to fail as Yuki slung me over his shoulder.
"Curse you Yuki-Baka" I say under my breathe and I get 'punished' for playing recklessly.
And with that I had the best day ever.
