Chapter 9: Special Addition

(A/N: This is kinda a special addition chapter! So yay! Demo, This may be kinda short This is focus on the day before the match with Shuuhoku High. It's basically Alex messing around and trying to cheer everyone that is nervous! So, what will she do??)

*Alex's POV*

My day was pretty normal for me. I had morning practice, school, afternoon practice, lunch, and more school. Something bothered me though... Hm, let's see... it's the day before the last first string game... The aura is tense.... I FIGURED IT OUT!

THE FIRST STRING ARE NEVOUS OR TENSE! I NEED TO FIX THIS AT EVENING PRACTICE.

Okay so its evening practice now and the first strings are having a little simulation/game with each other. And guess who's up to bat. Yup, Me! The Flamingo Alex! Tanba was pitching and the others were in their regular spot.

I, have the cocky attitude, decided it was time to cheer this team up and relax them. Tanba threw the next ball... (A/N: If you can name the songs these came from I will personally love you forever.)

"READY, AIM, FIRE!" I say as I hit the ball.

"I JUST WANNA RUN!" I say was I run the bases

"I'M ONE STEP CLOSER!" I say as I round third.

"I HAVE DIED EVERYDAY, WAITING FOR YOU!" I say as I slide face first into home.

I got up to see everyone laughing. I smiles to myself. 'Thank goodness that worked...' I thought to myself.

I turn around to coach, for my next directions, and I see him covered in dust. COMPLETELY COVERED IN DUST.

"Gomen? (Sorry?)?" I laugh nervously while scratching the back of my neck.

Practice continued with glares from Coach Kataoka. I swear he would be out for blood in looks could kill.

It was now dinner time and while everyone ate, I went around to the regulars. I whispered into their ear to come to the cafeteria at midnight...

*3rd POV*

The regulars were outside the cafeteria muttering to themselves. Alex had asked them ALL to come? They didn't know that. What was he planning?

They enter the cafeteria to only see darkness. Suddenly eight (8) candles were lit. I the center of the candles there was a sheet of paper... with pencils... and Alex.

"Ah, You guys actually came. Who's ready? I know I am!" Alex said cheerfully.

"A-Alex what exactly are we doing??" Eijun asked, nervous of what to come.

Alex smiled a evil looking grin. "We're playing.... Charlie Charlie!"

"And what is that?" Shirasu asked. Alex began to laugh. He just drew four boxes on the sheet paper. Wrote 'Yes no' on top and 'No yes' On the bottom.

"We're going to talk to a spirit! Isn't that cool? But if we do it wrong, Charlie will probably haunt us forever." Alex said happily. You see, his plan was to scare the nervousness and tenseness out of them.

Once Alex got them all sat down he lined up the pencils and they began.

"Charlie, Charlie. Are you here?" Alex asked. she watched the pencil with intenseness.

The pencil slowly moves to yes. "Yes okay, okay. Charlie, Charlie. Are you a girl?" Alex asked getting excited as the others watching in horror.

The pencil moves to no. "Ah, so you are a boy that's good to know." Alex said. "Charlie, Charlie. Will Seido win the game tomorrow?" Alex continued. The pencil moves to the center line. "Ah so you can't see into the future? Too bad. Okay, two more question.

"Charlie, Charlie. Did you play baseball?"

The pencil moved to yes. "Ah, so cool. I personally love you. What about you guys?" Alex asked as he looked at the guys. He about laughed at their expression. The all looked like they just saw an older naked lady. "Okay last one."

"Charlie, Charlie. Are you the idiot baseball player that died in an accident here?" Alex asked.

Suddenly all the candles blew out and there was a gust of wind. All the boys screamed and ran toward the lights or door. When Yuki turned on the lights they saw no one... Alec was missing.

"ALEX! WHERE DID YOU GO STOP FOOLING AROUND! IT'S NOT COOL!" Miyuki yelled.

"YEAH! COME OUT ALEX!" Eijun yelled agreeing with Miyuki. Suddenly they heard a blood crudely scream from the baseball field. Everyone ran to where they heard the scream.

Once they reach they saw Alex laying on the pitching mound. They turn him over to see a baseball implanted into his forehead.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" They all scream. They began to run around the field like they've seen a dead body. While everyone was in a state of panic, Alex started to laugh.

"Ah, Man, That didn't go as planned. Honestly I didn't think Charlie would really come." Alex said.

Alex slowly walked off the field where coach was. "Ah thanks again coach. I bet this really helped with getting their minds off the game. Plus, it's amusing to watch them run around like this."

"Alex. How did you move that pencil. I was in the kitchen with night vision glasses, waiting for your signal, and you didn't even touch it. You didn't have wires either." Coach Kataoka asked. To Alex this was way out of his character.

"I didn't. That was Charlie." Ale simply said while walking back to his dorm to get a good nights sleep before the game tomorrow.
