"..." Speaking

'...' Thinking)

*Alex's POV*

It has been a few day and all the upperclassmen have been treating me like a little brother/sister. They've become very over-protective. Especially Yuki and Jun. They didn't want me going to our practice game against Kokushikan High without, at least, one (1) upperclassman. I sigh at the thought of them persuading Coach into letting them come.

We were on the bus heading over to Kokushikan High and I've almost fell asleep twenty (20) times. I was really excited for our match last night so I didn't get much sleep. I decided I was going to do stupid stuff in this game. My first decision was to bat with my eyes close. Yeah, I know! I'M CRAZY! Then I was thinking of batting with one (1) hand. COUCH IS SO GOING TO YELL AT ME. MAYBE I WONT WEAR A HELMET.

GUESS IM GOING CRAZY ~Insert crazy laugh~ SOMEONE TELL THE WHICH DOCTOR!

Okayokayokayokayokayokay. I think I'm settled down. Just breathe in and out. ~Does that~ We arrive and I'm the first one off the bus. I was literally running to our dugout. "OI, Alex! Slow down!" Eijun yelled running after me. "NEVER!" I yell back and run faster.

*3rd POV*

'He's defiantly Sawamura's cousin' Everyone thought as they watch the fragile boy run around with his cousin chasing them.

"OI, Alex! Slow down!" Sawamura shouted

"NEVER!" Alex replied

Everyone only sweat dropped at their actions. 'Yep, that confirms it. They're cousins'

~Time skip because of Tanbas' baldness?~

(A/N: Chris-Senpai has already stepped up to play just so yeah guys know.)

It's the last inning. I certain blonde haired boy walks up to the plate without his helmet and only one batting glove on. The bases are loaded with Furuya on third, Haruuichi on second, and Sawamura on first. There's two outs with a walk from the pitch. The score it 4-5,Kokushikan High in the lead. Alex readies his bat, ignoring the yells from his teammates to put his helmet and glove on.

'Should I go right or left?' Alex asked himself. 'I'll go right since I'm batting without looking. I've had enough time to analyze his pitch.' Alex answered his own question. "Let's have a good match." Alex said as he bowed. The catcher looked at him confused. "Where's your helmet and left batting glove?" he questioned. "Well you see, I wanted a challenge so, I'm hitting with only one hand and my eyes closed." Alex smiled as he replied.

Alex closes and grips the bat correctly. He takes a deep breathe. 'If I remember correctly, he'll pitch to the outside in the middle. I need to fix the length of the bat.' Alex says to himself in his head. He has his pointing and middle finger wrapped about the end of the bat to extend its length. He could hear the ball coming and he had to wait 3 seconds... then, BAM. The bat hits the ball clean off toward the back fence. Alex opens his eyes and fists pumps to himself. "I DIDN'T THINK IT WOULD ACTUALLY WORK!" he yells cause his teammates to stop cheering and just give him a questioning look.

"YOU MEAN YOU WENT UP LIKE THAT AND Didn't KNOW YOU COULD HIT THE BALL." someone yelled.

Alex makes it home and the teams line up.
