Chapter 7

(A/N: This chapter will focus on Alexs' past and her brothers past. This gets somewhat depressing so, if you don't like that kind of stuff, you can skip this chapter. Hope you enjoy if you read. Also, the video is the piano song that Alex plays)

*3rd POV*

Alex sits in her room, along with Yuki and Jun of coarse, staring at a photo. The photo was of her and her brother. Her brother, Eren, held up a peace sign while having Alex in a head lock. Alex had given Eren bunny ears. It was one of those happy memories she smiled at.

'Man, I need to clear my mind. I have to get ready for the last first-string game.' Alex thought as she got down from her bed (Which it the top bunk under Yuki). She grabbed her black and dark blue jacket, walking over to the desk and grabbing her iPhone with her earphones. Walking out she grabbed her key just in case. She plugged herself into he earphone and went for a walk around Tokyo. A piano cover of 'River Flows in You' came on and she was pulled back into the past

[Flashback]

Five year old Alex looked up to her Mother, Father and Elder Bother. All of them were playing the same song, different pitches of coarse, having a fun time.

"Alex you've gotten a lot better! Have you and Eren been practicing?" her Mother asked.

Eren and Alex both nodded laughing. "Hey Alex! Why don't we show Mama and Papa the song we've been working on?" Eren asked excited. Alex nodded quickly as if her head was about to fall off.

Alex sat on the right end of the bench while her brother sat at the left.

"One.. Two... One Two Three Four." He brother whispered and they started. Alex had the melody while Eren had the harmony. It was a sad and happy part. Alex had the happy, Eren had the sad. But, when you combine them together it made something amazing. Their parents listen to the beautiful music their children were making. Both had their eyes closed with smiles on their face. Alex looked over to her brother as he looked at her and smiled. The two siblings finish the song together and laughed. Their parent praised them at how good they play together and the family played together as one again.

[End of Flashback]

At some point it had began to rain as Alex starred at the sky. She felt tear run down her face along with the rain. She laughed slightly. Why was she trying to travel back into the past? Why had she come to this school when her family needed her? Who was she playing for? Who would come watch her play in the field with he cousins? She didn't even let her parents talk it over with her.

Alex now had her head hung low as her bangs she had covered her eyes. She began to walk not even noticing the stares in her direction and most of all. She didn't even notice nineteen people we watching her from afar. Alex just continued to walk until she made it in front of a music store. She walked and was greeted by a hug. Her old teacher, Lily, stilled work there so, since she was out she thought 'might as well visit.' Alex hugged back and asked to use the piano. Lily agreed happily and allowed Alex to use a White Grand Piano. Alex had put her earphone back in and rest 'River Flows in You' and began to play the song that she was listening to...

[With nineteen guys] (A/N: I think we all know who those guys are)

Everyone looked at each other in confusion. Why was Alex, a little brother to them, crying in a daze. They suddenly hear him laugh and were shocked to only be able to see his mouth. Their Alex continued to walk until he made into a shop. Everyone look up at the name of the shop.

"Forte?" Sawamura asked.

"Ah, that's right." Furuya said to himself as if answering his own question.

"Didn't Alex come here and practice with his Bro-" Sawamura began but then stopped immediately realizing something. The guys decide to go into the store but were surprised to see Alex playing his heart out.

[Back with Alex]

Alex was playing all her feelings into this piece. It was mid-way through the song when she looked over to the piano next to her, it was a Black Grand Piano. She was shocked to see her brother smiling down and a three year old Alex. She could hear the faint words of her brother. "Amazing. Good Job."

Alex could feel tear but turned back to the piano she was playing. She played even more of her soul into that one piece for it was the last piece she was plating for a while. She was nearing the end off the song. She took a deep breathe and out of the corner of her eye she saw a crowd. She played the last note and listened as it faded away. She looked to her left, hoping to see her brother, only to see it empty. Alex turned to her former teacher. She was shocked to see that she was crying.

"Alex... You've grown so much. I know your brother would be proud of you." Lily said "Make sure to live the dream he couldn't, Alex." Lily finished as she hugged Alex. Alex then heard clapping and looked to her right to see everyone. Sawamura and Furuya came and hugged Alex, for support.

Once they let her go she saw everyone. Eijun, Miyuki, Furuya, Haruichi, Kuramochi, Yuki, Nori, Jun, Tanba, Masuko, Ryo, Shoji, Shin, Naoki, Yiamazaki, Shirasu, Miyauchi, Kadota and Chris. She smiled through tears and they all came in and hugged her.

(A/N: Aye so I wanted to say that when Alex left her dorm, Yuki and Jun gathered everyone up to see where she was going. If you didn't get the relationship between Alex and Eren, they were very close and they did everything together, like best friends or something. And Erens' dream, by the way, was to win nationals.
