To me (Vox x Reader AU)

It's been a week since Y/n's warehouse was burnt down. Y/n has been staying in Alastors guest bedroom while she rebuilds her warehouse. Y/n's been racking her brain to figure out how to make her warehouse better than how it used to be. Y/n wasn't in a depressed state most thought she would be in. Except she was driven. Driven by betrayal, heartbreak and shame.

Vox and Velvette have been trying to contact Y/n but Y/n ended up blocking all of them from everything. Y/n rubs her temples as she's slumped over the desk placed in her room. As Y/n's lost in thought Alastor appears behind her.

"My dear, Its been a week since everything happened and you haven't showed up at the radio tower."

"I'm sorry Alastor I'm just thinking." Y/n holds her head with her hands.

"Working can get your mind off it! We have big things to do Y/n!" Alastor exclaims. Y/n sighs and rubs her forehead.

"Alastor I really can't right now." Y/n puts her hand up. Alastor stiffens and he fixes his lense.

"It's quite amusing to see a strong willed minded woman like yourself this way. Such a pathetic display." Y/n's head perks up and she turns to face Alastor.

"What?"

Alastor shurgs keeping that sinister grin on his face. Y/n stood up to face him. She looked up at him with a glare.

"I don't know what you're doing but stop it. I'm not doing this with you. Fuck off." Alastor looks down at Y/n and leans a bit closer.

"You did this to yourself. You trusted The V's and look where it got you." Y/n groans and backs up from Alastor.

"You can be a real fucking dick sometimes." Y/n punches the desk. Alastor laughs and picks up his staff.

"That's all im saying. I better see you at work tomorrow." With that Alastor vanishes. Y/n curses and throws herself on her bed. The door knocks and Nina's voice can be heard from the door.

"Miss Y/n.. I have Velvette at the door. She's asking to see you." Y/n rolls her eyes.

"Tell her to fuck off!" Y/n shouts. Suddenly the window in her room shatters. Y/n sits up in surprise.

"Say it to my face!" Velvette screams from outside. Y/n gets out of bed and looks out the window. There stood Velvette who was waving with a smile on her face.

"I can stand here all day darling!"

"Fuck you! Go away before I take your soul!" Y/n shouts back. Velvette rolls her eyes.

"Just hear me out! I'll only take a bit of your time and if you still don't want me to stay I'll leave!"

Y/n stood there for a second before cursing under her breath and walking to her door. Nina stood there awkwardly and Y/n sighs.

"Let her in. Bring her to my room." Y/n shuts the door and stands by her couch. After a few seconds Velvette and Nina walk in.

"You look like shit." Velvette laughs a bit. Y/n rolls her eyes and crossed her arms together.

"You have one minute."

"Pissing hell okay. Look Y/n we didnt set you up." Y/n cuts Velvette off by laughing.

"Laugh all you want I'm being serious. That night everything happened Vox went to look at the camrea he had placed outside your warehouse. Don't ask why. But he found this." Velvette pulls out her phone and shows the footage of the incident.
