There were many rituals and traditions that had to be done during times of great celebration in Vethela. For instance, for (Y/n)'s coronation, most people would remember the festival that happened around the nation for a week straight. However, in truth, she had to travel up to the Sun God Sect to receive blessings before dressing in ancient silks and gems in a particular manner. She also had to recite the pledge of Ezdia in order to become empress. Countless other things happened, too. Vethela just happened to be very particular about everything.

For a wedding, too, especially a royal wedding, many rituals were performed, such as (Y/n) and Orion sharing an Udarin - a special-grown fruit with two halves - to represent their union. They also drank Vethelan rose wine and performed a special dance during their reception. Suffice to say, they were anything but bored on their wedding day. And since Viasti tradition was so particular and hectic on days like this, unlike other religions, the Vethelan consummation did not happen on the same day as the wedding.

On the contrary, for two days, they were meant to abstain from anything to solidify a love of heart instead of body. So, on the third day of being wed, yet another tradition was about to occur. And, Orion, now the consort and not the king, was panicking about it. He'd already been turning his room upside down to find his favorite fragrance to wear, but that was only the tip of the iceberg. Presley and the rest of his attendants watched in bafflement, trying to stay out of it to prevent the male from having a worse breakdown.

"What do I do? What do I do?" Orion sniffled, staring at himself in the mirror as hard as he could, "Why do I have to look so tired today of all days?! I definitely made sure I got enough sleep!"

At that point, Presley had no choice but to step in. Regardless of the fact that his prince had changed from being completely innocent and harmless, he was still his prince. It was his duty and honor to serve him. So, the knight stepped forward to cover the consort's mirror, preventing him from finding any more flaws in his appearance. Expectedly, Orion was not very grateful for it, pouting and trying to take the towel off of the mirror.

"Your highness," the coral-haired man sighed, "There is nothing wrong with the way you look."

"T-That's easy for you to say! You're not sealing your marriage tonight!"

"Then, let me rephrase it this way. When you say things like that, your highness, you make normal people want to punch you in the face," the knight sighed, looking at the other servants who all grumbled in agreement, "The empress loves you. She doesn't care whether you look your best or not. I promise you she will pounce on you either way."

Orion scrunched his nose up. That was just a fancy way of saying he really didn't look his best. But the orange-haired male was determined to be the most attractive he'd ever been before. So, he continued going around the room, throwing stuff here or there for seemingly no reason whatsoever. Even when Presley ended up bringing his cousins in, he was unappeased though with a slightly better temper.

"Why don't you listen to Kazuki?" the coral-haired man suggested, patting his friend on the shoulder, "He was almost married before. I'm sure he knows what you're feeling right now."

"Well," the blonde flushed, darting his eyes away uncomfortably, "The consummation...I wouldn't know, so - B-But I remember being worried the first time we...uh...you know. Um, as long as you have a little confidence in yourself...she should like it, too?"

"What do you mean the first time?" Orion paused, eyes darting from his eldest cousin to his playmate, "You...didn't get married though. So how would you know...about that stuff?"

Kazuki was quick to flare up, a deep and urgent desire to excuse himself boiling up. If Presley hadn't been holding him back, he would have bolted already. Though, the coral-haired male was also very bashful about the whole situation. Still, Orion insisted on knowing, so, when neither could answer him - knowing it probably wouldn't have a desirable impact on the younger male - Ichiro stepped up. He did not have the forethought of what the orange-haired male might think about it.
