Harry walked away from the door and back into his and Louis' room. He knew better than to mess every thing up. Niall and Zayn needed this time to work things out. He wasn't sure how he would feel if this night ended in Ziall instead of Niam, but he figured that if it made everyone happy, then he would be fine with it. Even if he really wanted Zayn to end up with Kendall so he would know his son was well taken care of.

"What happened?" Louis looked up from whatever it was he had been doing to see Harry walking back into the room.

"The door was locked. I heard voices inside. Zayns room was empty." Harry explained.

Louis turned to face him. "You think Zayn was in there?"

Harry nodded. "I would bet on it."

Louis stood up, putting aside whatever he had been doing. "I guess we should deal with Liam then."

Harry lay down on the bed. "Or we could just let him sweat it out. I'm honestly exhausted."

Louis smiled. He could never deny Harry. He lay down next to his boyfriend, and wrapped the yoinger boy in his arms. His hand strayed up t the boys curls and he ran his fingers throigh Harry's hair. Harry hummed a bit in approval. How well they fit together might have been a sign to them in the past that their feelings might have been mutual, or at the very least that they were meant to be. They must really have been oblivious. But none of that mattered anymore. They were together now, and that was all that mattered.

Louis placed a gentle kiss on Harry's forehead. He loved that he could do that and really mean it now, not just have it blown off as a gesture of friendship. Harry smiled a little in his sleep which in turn, made Louis smile. He loved Harry so much, he always had. And now that he got to express his love, he could hardly contain his joy. With his smile still hust as wide, Louis feel asleep to the sound of Harry's deep breaths and for a while, he forgot about the troubles of the band. For a whike, Louis was happy.

Liam sat on the couch. He knew he had messed up. He knew he may have blown his only chance with Niall. He knew that there may be no fixing this and that Harry and Louis would be almost as angry as Niall about all of this. He didn't know what at to do to fix it, He didn't know if he could fix it. But he also knew that Niall loved him, and Louis and Harry were excellent at being matchmakers. If he vould convince Harry or Louis (probably Harry, he had always been more lenient about this sort of thing) that he really did like Niall, then everything would work out alright. He didn't have a lot to worry about It he played his cards right.

But as Liam waited, he got a bit tv more uncertain. Time passed, and Harry and Louis never came back downstairs to yell at him. He began to wonder if maybe he had messed up too badly this time, that Louis and Harry weren't even hoing to give him a chance to explain. Maybe Zayn had made a move...that didn't seem like something he would do, But who can really tell? If you loved someone enoigh, you would do anything to have them to yourself.

Now rather unsure of himself and worrying about what he had done, Liam ended up falling into a fitful sleep, uncomfortable and unhappy. He finally relized what he had done was his own fault and that he would be responsible for getting out of it. He was finally taking responsibility

Harry woke to a small weight on his chest. He opened his eyes to see a little kid crawling in him. More specifically, Noah was crawling on him. He unwound himself from Louis' arms and sat up, pulling the little boy into his lap.

"Hey there Noah. You okay?" He asked. The three year old cuddled into his arms.

"I-it's d-dark." He complained. "W-where's Z-Zayn?"

Harry didn't know about the boys stutter, and he assumed that Noah was simply terrified. He squeezed the boy in his arms, holding him close.

"Zayn is fixing things with someone." Harry didn't know how to explain it to the little boy. The situation was just too complicated.

"D-did he b-b-break it?" Noah asked, getting comfortable in Harry's arms.

Harry smiled slightly. "It wasn't him. Someone else broke things between them. He's just the one to fix them."

"M-my m-mum says m-my d-d-daddy b-broke th-things bet-t-tween them." Noah admitted. Harrys heart hurt at those words, knowing that he was this child's father, and that he was indeed the one responsible for breaking things.

"Do you miss your dad?" Harry asked.

Noah shook his head. "N-no. I n-never kn-knew him."

"Do you wish he was still around?" Harry asked. Noah gave a little shrug.

"I d-Don't th-think about it m-much." Noah admitted. Harry nodded and simply held the boy close.

"Wh-when w-will Z-zayn b-be d-done?" Noah asked. He was obviously more comfortable with Zayn than with Harry and wanted the more familiar figure back.

"I don't know," Harry admitted. "It may be a while.

Louis stirred in the bed next to him, reaching out for Harry and frowning in his sleep when he couldn't find the yyounger boy. He groaned a bit and sat up, rubbing his eyes.

"What's going on?" He asked, still half asleep and not able to see the lottle boy in Harry's arms.

"Noah's looking for Zayn." Harry explained, leaning over and kissing Louis on the forehead. The older boy smiled at the sweet action, and looked over at Noah.

"Hey mate. How's it going?" He asked the little boy, who climbed over Harry's lap and into Louis' arms, giving him a hug. Once that was done, He climbed in between the two.

"G-good." Noah responded. "B-but I'm s-sleepy."

Louis nodded. "Its okay. You can sleep here while you wait for Zayn to come back."

Noah nodded and snuggled into Harry's side. Louis wrapped his arms around the boy, and before long, he was sleeping soundly again. Louis turned to look at Harry, tears in his eyes.

"Yiur son is beautiful." He whispered to Harry, who frowned. He leaned over and wiped a tear from Louis' cheek.

"Why are you crying?" Harry asked.

"Your son is so beautiful. Your going to grow to love him so much more than you could ever love me and youre going to leave me for Kendall." Louis whimpered.

"Listen to me Louis. Yes, My son is beautiful. And yes I admire Kendall's strength in raising him all on her own. But Louis, I'm not going to leave you for Kendall. I wouldn't do that to you. And I wouldn't do that to Zayn. Noah doesn't even like me, the entire time we talked, he was waiting for Zayn. I have a feeling that Zayn is going to be more like Noah's dad than I'll ever be. I know that, and I'm perfectly comfortable with that. I'm not going to leave you for Kendall, or even Noah. I promise." Harry assured him. Louis gave him a sad smile.

"You say that. But Harry, I know you. You aren't going to leave Kendell to care for Noah all on her own. The guilt would eat away at you." Louis was still crying slightly and Harry leaned over and kissed the older boys lips gently.

"Did you ever wonder why I was so supportive of Zayn hanging out with her? Why I didn't even question it when he brought Noah over to spend the night? I trust Zayn with Noah, and I know I could never be a proper father to him, so I encourage Zayn to hang out with them. I ship Zayn and Kendall so that he can help care for my son. I'm doing everything I can to make sure Noah has a good life. But leaving you is something I can't do, not so soon after I finally told the truth, and not ever." Harry promised.

Louis nodded slightly, still doubting Harry, but not willing to show it. Harry wouldn't break his heart...would he?
