Jungkook sat by the window on the train to Daegu, lost in thought about his new beginning. Suddenly, his phone rang, pulling him back to reality. It was his friend Mingyu calling, and he answered.

"Hello?" Jungkook greeted.

"Are you on the train?" Mingyu asked.

"Yes, I'm on my way," Jungkook replied. "Mingyu, can you tell me about Mr. Kim, the friend who arranged the apartment for me?"

"Don't worry, Jungkook. When you arrive in Daegu, he'll be there for you," Mingyu reassured him.

"Thanks, Mingyu, for everything," Jungkook said gratefully.

"Thanks aren't necessary between friends. And don't worry about anything here; I'll take care of it," Mingyu replied.

Jungkook nodded, feeling reassured. After the call ended, he looked out the window, contemplating his new journey ahead in life.

After two days
📍At Daegu

In the early morning rush, Taehyung stood in front of his mirror, quickly applying lip balm to his strawberry lips before securing his butterfly hair clip onto his blonde hair.

"Taehyung, come! Your breakfast is ready!" his mom's voice echoed from downstairs, causing him to pause. With a smile on his lips, he grabbed his bag and hurried downstairs.

Entering the dining hall, Taehyung greeted his dad, who was engrossed in his newspaper, and his mom, who was setting the table in a hurry.

"Good morning, Dad, Mom," he said, taking a seat and eyeing the delicious breakfast spread. His father looked up with a smile, calling him over to join them.

Taehyung scanned the table and turned to his mom. "Where's Hyun, Mom?" he asked, noticing his brother's absence. His mom explained that Hyun was at the restaurant, overseeing the introduction of new dishes for the day.

"I'm sure Jin will succeed," Mr. Kim chimed in proudly. "After all, he's practically family now," Mrs. Kim added, beaming with pride.

The Kim family owned a renowned restaurant in Daegu, managed primarily by Taehyung's mom and his brother-in-law, Seokjin, who was a famous chef.

As Taehyung absentmindedly bit into his chopsticks, his mom reminded him to eat quickly and not to bite the utensils, urging him not to be late for school. With that, Taehyung snapped out of his thoughts and began to eat hastily.

Taehyung and Jimin sat together on the bus, engrossed in a serious discussion while looking at Jimin's phone.

"I can't believe Mr. Han is leaving," Taehyung remarked.

"He's had two heart attacks already, so he's going in for heart surgery," Jimin explained.

"So, does that mean he's quitting as our math teacher?" Taehyung inquired.

"Maybe. We'll likely get a new math teacher soon. I hope they're nicer to us," Jimin replied optimistically.

"You know how math teachers are. They're like Draculas thirsty for our blood," Taehyung added, being a bit sassy.

Jimin and Taehyung stepped off the bus and headed towards the school gates, but their attention was caught by someone standing nearby.

"Taetae, isn't that Bogum?" Jimin pointed out, nodding towards the school gate. Bogum, a beta from another school, was someone Taehyung had a slight crush on.
