The three girls were in Belly's room. Oceana's suitcase was already in the car. The three best friends talked about volleyball and summer.

"Oce, I still can't believe what I walked in on," Taylor said open-mouthed. "Wait, what?" asked Belly as she turned around. "Yeah, I walked into her room a week ago and she was taken from behind by Shane," Taylor told her before Oceana could say anything. "Oh my god. Shane the jockey?" asked Belly open-mouthed.

"Yes, Shane Lewson," Oceana groaned. "Yeah, it looked like you were enjoying it girl," Taylor laughed. Oceana threw a pillow at Taylor.

"That was my first time, okay?" asked Oceana as she sat up with a red face. "And it was with a god, I mean have you seen his beautiful dark skin and his abs, literally his whole body," Taylor said. "Tay!" squealed Oceana laughing.

"Now you focus on Conrad," Taylor said teasingly as she pointed to Belly. Oceana nodded and got up from the bed. "No shit that Shane wanted you, you're a walking goddess." Taylor gave Oceana a wink as Oceana blushed.

"Drew is bummed you're going to miss the matchup with the boys, though. Especially you Belly," Taylor said as she looked up from her phone. Belly had changed a lot, she had gotten prettier. One of those girls that boys would finally have their attention on now.

First it was Oceana and Taylor that the boys always looked at, but now it's finally Belly, too. Only she needs to get a little more confident.

"Um, make sure you square Sophie up for the block," Belly said as she went through her closet. "Drew Martinez is texting me about you and you're talking about volleyball?" asked Taylor as she raised an eyebrow. "Like, are you serious right now?"

"Drew doesn't care if we come or not, he just wants an excuse to text you," Oceana reminded her friend as she looked at her light make-up in the mirror. "And you better take this match against the boys seriously. I mean, team pride is on the line, Taylor," Belly said stressed as she fixed her ponytail.

"Please, you know me better than that. I never let a boy beat me at anything," Taylor chuckled. "I thought you guys came here to help me pack," Belly complained as she saw her two best friends sitting in front of her mirror. "Oh yeah, we're coming," Oceana said as she stood up quickly.

Belly pulled a black bathing suit out of her closet that was way too small. "Little tip, don't bring that speedo," Oceana said as she looked doubtfully at the swimsuit. "It won't do anything to your new boobs," Taylor nodded. "It's not a speedo," Belly sighed. "Whatever babes," Taylor muttered.

"Like, you have to pack cute things," Oceana explained as she sat back down on Belly's bed. "Well, I'll buy a new bikini when I get there. And I have Oceana for advice," Belly said as she looked at the blond-haired girl. Oceana nodded proudly.

"Okay, Oce?" asked Taylor. Oceana looked up at Taylor. "Make sure she doesn't buy a swimsuit like she looks like she's trying out for the swim team." Oceana laughed as Belly rolled her eyes, "Very funny, Tay."

"Belly, we leave in ten minutes!" shouted Laurel upstairs. "We have to go," Belly stressed as Oceana grabbed her makeup bag. "No," Taylor said as she pushed the two back. "But-," said Oceana. "We still have ten minutes," Taylor cut the Golding girl off.

"Okay, before you go the two of you have to tell us your summer wish," Taylor said as she looked seriously at her two best friends.

"I don't know," Belly lied. "Little liar, you really do know!" Taylor yelled. "You want a hot kiss with Conrad Fisher," Oceana teased her. "Yeah, you want his tongue in your mouth you dirty slut," Taylor joked.

"Shut up, Taylor!" Belly laughed. "What's yours, Oce?" asked Taylor. "Probably another good lay like Shane," Belly muttered. Oceana gasped and slapped her on the arm as Taylor laughed.

"No, no. But maybe if one comes along," Oceana joked. The three girls laughed. "Nah, I just want a good time with you, Bells."

"But you and Conrad must happen," Oceana sighed as she ran a hand through her ponytail. "Yeah, you've been in love with him since I don't know. When you were 12?" said Taylor dramatically. "You need to shit or get off the pot."

"A: That's disgusting and B: It doesn't matter what I do. He doesn't see me that way," Belly sighed disappointedly. "Oh, he's going to see you," Oceana reassured her. "Whether he wants to or not," Taylor nodded. "You look a lot different than you did last summer, Belly."

Belly nodded, but didn't believe it. How could she be beautiful while Oceana stood beside her all summer. She had no regrets when she asked Oceana along.

Oceana was always a great friend to Belly and vice versa. The two met in the first year of middle school. Belly had forgotten money for her lunch and Oceana offered to pay.

Belly soon found out that Oceana's parents were rich. Oceana drove a Porsche and a Ferrari. But Oceana didn't care, she often put aside her rich life to hang out with Belly. That's what made Oceana so special, she put others before herself.

Belly watched Oceana engage in conversation with Taylor as she brushed her lashes carefully. Oceana was wearing a pretty pink floral tank top with shorts underneath. She looked great, she always does. That's what made Belly so insecure.

Belly shook her head and brought herself back to reality. She smiled at her two friends who were busy making themselves beautiful. But Belly knew for sure, this was going to be their summer.
