Oceana was already downstairs, ready for the day before Belly was awake. She didn't want to speak to the Conklin girl right now.

"What are you making?" asked Oceana curiously to Jeremiah. "Just my drink," Jeremiah said with a smile as he rubbed his eye. "For your abs?" asked Oceana as she raised an eyebrow. "So you did notice them?" asked Jeremiah teasingly. "Oh, no. I mean yes, but that's n-not how I meant it," stammered Oceana nervously.

Jeremiah chuckled and shook his head, "Relax, I was just kidding."

Oceana shifted her glass of juice back and forth a bit as Taylor showered upstairs. "So, have you and Belly made up?" asked Jeremiah to break the silence. "Nope, we haven't talked since last night," Oceana sighed. "I know I shouldn't be angry, but she was acting so unfair to Taylor."

"I don't know much about girl drama, but you guys really need to make up. Bells was really sad when she told me you guys are fighting," Jeremiah told her. Oceana nodded and played with the strands of her ponytail. "Hey, shall we get muffins?"

Oceana nodded with a big smile and quickly drank her juice. "Will you grab the car keys from Conrad's drawer?" asked Jeremiah. Oceana nodded and walked upstairs to Conrad's room.

She opened the drawer looking for the key, but found a necklace. It was the necklace he wanted to give Belly for her birthday, she was sure.

"What are you doing here?" sounded Belly from behind her. "Jeez, Belly. I just came here for the car keys," Oceana said as she quickly grabbed the keys from Jeremiah's jeep. Belly leaned against the doorframe as Oceana walked quickly past her.

"You okay?" asked Jeremiah to Oceana when she didn't say anything during the drive. "I just don't get Belly this summer," Oceana admitted. "Why? Because she acts more like.....well a girl?" asked Jeremiah as he looked quickly at her and then back at the road.

"No, because she's been acting weird since hanging out with Nicole and those other girls," Oceana sighed as she leaned into her seat. "Okay, forget about them. They think they're better than everyone else and Belly will find out soon, believe me," Jeremiah reassured Oceana.

"No, it's not. She's just not the Belly I know anymore," Oceana sighed. "But people change, so yeah."

"Who were you talking to last night?" asked Jeremiah to change the subject. "Miles, one of Shane's brothers," Oceana told him. "Shane is the guy you were... you know, right?" asked Jeremiah. Oceana nodded embarrassedly and played with her earring.

"He asked who I was. I said my name is Katy," Oceana said with a chuckle. "Katy? You couldn't think of another name?" asked Jeremiah, laughing. "What? Katy is a nice name," laughed Oceana.

"It makes me think of Katy Perry," Jeremiah chuckled. Oceana rolled her eyes with a smile.

"But how did it go with you and Luke last night?" asked Oceana curiously. "Fine, nothing special," Jeremiah muttered. "Nothing special? Damn, was it that bad?" teased Oceana. Jeremiah flipped her off as she laughed.

Oceana had a good time with Jeremiah. But now was the awkward moment.

Belly and she had to drop Taylor off at the bus station. Jeremiah actually trusted Oceana with his jeep.

Oceana gave Taylor a hug and they said goodbye to each other. The Swedish girl turned to Belly, but Belly stared ahead.

"Aren't you saying goodbye?" asked Oceana to the brunette. "I don't feel like it," Belly said without emotion. "She's your friend and she came here for your birthday because she loves you," snorted Oceana. "But if you don't want to say goodbye, fine."

Belly sighed and got out of the jeep and walked toward Taylor. The conversation was rather awkward by the looks of it because the two quickly said bye to each other and Belly walked back to the jeep.

"Are you still mad at me?" asked Belly after an awkward silence as they drove back to the beach house. "Kind of, I don't know," Oceana sighed. "You didn't treat Taylor fairly, you just left us at the party."

"I asked if you guys wanted to join me," Belly said in frustration. "You know Taylor doesn't like that," Oceana sighed. "Then why did you go with her?" asked Belly. "Because she didn't have anyone else, god," muttered Oceana as she hit the brakes full on.

"You really can be a bitch sometimes," Belly muttered. Oceana smiled and suddenly began to laugh. "God, so can you. You can be a total bitch sometimes, too!" she laughed. Belly started laughing, too. "Jeez, I don't want to argue, Oce. Friends?"

"Best friends," Oceana sighed as she hugged Belly. The two were startled when a car only just managed to avoid them and the driver honked.

"Oops, I promised Jere I'd bring the jeep home in one piece," Oceana laughed as she drove on. "Jere let you borrow his jeep?" asked Belly in disbelief. Oceana nodded proudly.

Belly smirked, she knew there was something going on between them, but she let them figure it out for themselves.

"You brought her back safely," Jeremiah said as he walked out of the house. "I'd always be safe with her," Oceana said with a grin as she patted the jeep.

"After you, my lady," Jeremiah said as he held the door open for Oceana. "Oh but thank you," Oceana said with a chuckle as Jeremiah lifted her out of the car.

The two walked to the backyard laughing. "They have a hundred percent something for each other," Laurel sighed with a smile. "I know," Belly laughed as she looked at the two.
