Chapter 9-

Percy's P.O.V.

-Wednesday-

I look over Annabeth's gorgeous body as she lays out in the sun in her bikini. She's 'tanning' but really she's just being sexy. I'm going to bother the hell out of her in a second, but right now I'm just looking over everyone from the dock, making sure we're all accounted for.

Piper is laying out beside her, and they're really more relaxing than anything, chatting occasionally. Frank, Hazel and Leo are in a little group, per usual, on the beach making sand castles, and Jason and Nico are sitting in the shade, sort of sitting against one another. Everyone is being so cute...

I can't believe we have to head home tomorrow...

Everyone is here, we're all fine...? Perfect.

"Hey gorgeous." I say to Annabeth as I go over and kneel down beside her.

She peeks an eye open at me and frowns. "You're shading me, I'm trying to tan."

"You're what? I can't hear you." I tell her, very clearly staring at her boobs. I swear, I could see her like this every day and still be in awe of her.

"Stop objectifying me, seaweed brain." She chuckles.

I lean down and kiss her instead, and she kisses me back, curling a hand on my open shirt collar, letting me actually be close to her.

Hell yes.

"Get a room!" Piper says.

"Come down into the water with me again~" I grin at Annabeth, just pulling away enough to talk to her.

"I'm tanning! I don't want to get wet." She complains.

She walked right into that one, she has to know that, right? "I won't let you get wet, except if you want me to make you-"

She swats at my arm playfully, pulling back and laying out on her towel again "BAD. You're going crazy from needing something to do, aren't you?"

I want to do you, Annabeth Chase. I have a feeling if I say that out loud, Piper will toss me into the sea.

"Go play with Nico and Jason." Piper suggests.

"They're being boring." I complain. "All of you are. Where's your energy?"

"I left it on day one." Annabeth tells me.

"Boo! I need someone to go crazy with me, but even Leo is being boring and cute with his girlfriends over there."

It's funny to me to call Frank one of Leo's girlfriends. It's hilarious, actually.

We look over at them, and they're still all working peacefully together on a sandcastle. I doubt that will last long.

"I'm sure you could get his attention off of them." Piper says.

"But they're being so peaceful for once." I point out.

"So?"

"I'm not going to be the one to break it. I'll bother Nico and Jason in a second." I say, kissing Annabeth again.

"C'mon, go bother them." She sighs, laying back down.

I get up dejectedly. "Will you swim with me later?"

"Sure, after lunch." She decides.

Hell yes.

I jump off the dock and speed through the water, jumping out in front of them and landing on the beach beside them.
