Chapter 11

Deverick.

"Ciara please stop it now" I said popping her leg, she was throwing a tantrum kicking and screaming. She kept crying because I told her to take a nap and she didn't want to. As she kept crying nonstop, I eventually tuned her out the only thing I could think about right now was Jennifer.

Man, I want Jennifer back...I love her to death. That's my girl and Trey thinks he can just come and take my girl from me? Fuck that she'll be back.. I know she misses me Jennifer needs me, she is nothing without me and if I can't have her no one will; she's mine.

"I want my mommie!".Ciara cried out."Ciara, You'll see her tomorrow stop crying and go lay down." I told her while going to the kitchen pouring myself a shot of Tequila, then the doorbell rang. I took my shot to the head then went to open the door and surprisingly I was instantly happy to see this person.

"Where's my daughter?"

"She in there ",I pointed to the family room where Ciara was.

"Good I missed her so much".she said walking in going towards the family room where Ciara was hugging her tightly.

"Yeah she does too she was just crying for you".

"My baby, you was crying for mommy?" Celina asked her in a baby voice while holding her. "I'm getting her today because my friend Dayci and her family invited us out." I paused when she said that name.

"Dayci?".I questioned her leaning against the door frame."Yeah, what you know her or something?".I flared my nose and shook my head in disbelief. "Yeah I do".She slowly noddded while grabbing Ciara's bags "Well..It's a small world but we got to get going Ciara baby let's go. Tell your dad bye". Celina grabbed Ciara's hand she waved bye to me and they left.

What the hell just happened......

Jennifer.

"Haha! Dad stop." Jacala begged while laughing as Trey tickled her, then he stopped."Dad?".Trey questioned her smiling and her laughs slowed."I mean Mr. Trey".she said correcting her self while giggling. I started ear hustling as I was helping Niah build her Lego castle. "It's good baby girl you can call me dad if you want".Trey said to her, I smiled at them and Jacala jumped on Treys back as they continued wrestling and playing.

~Later on that same day

"BabyMoms?Pleaseee". Trey said poking out his bottom lip."No Trey!". I said while laughing at him, he plays too much. We were laying down in the bed just chilling watching tv as the girls were taking their nap.

"Why?"

"Cuz"

"Cuz what?"

"I said so"

"And and I said I wanna have sex"

"Trey really No"

"Yes"

"No Trey"

"Yes Jen"

"No"

"Yes"

"Stop that"

"Finnnneee".Trey said flipping in the sheets moving the pillows around in the bed throwing a tantrum."Oh my god Trey stop that".I said laughing a little while searching for a good show to watch."Noooo".He said whining and I rolled my eyes finally finding a good show to watch."Oh hell no we ain't watching no damn Catfish!".Trey said snatching the remote out my hand."Yes we are".I said snatching it back and he sucked his teeth."Okay Trey what do you wanna watch then?".he bit his lip."You".I rolled my eyes "I'm so done with you Trey".I said making him laugh.

"Babe I'm serious! I'm horny right now!".He pouted and I sighed."Okay You can......Go get the lotion in the top drawer I'm going to bed".I turned off the TV and rolled over closing my eyes."How you just gone--You know what never mind I got you".I chuckled then closed my eyes again.I started to hear the drawer open and then the bathroom door close and I giggled and went to sleep.

I woke up from my nap hearing loud noises "Oh my god!Babymoms!!".Trey yelled for me from downstairs."Yesss Trey".I yelled back getting out of bed."Niah walking!!".My eyes got big and I rushed downstairs."Oh my god!".I said while watching Niah take small steps around and Trey right behind her making sure she doesn't fall."Look at my baby".I said in awe "Come to mommy baby!" I reached my arms out to her she started taking steps towards me while Trey recorded her then she stumbled and fell on her butt. "Uh-Oh!" We laughed and I picked her up kissing her cheek."Good Job baby!".I said to her. I walked into the kitchen and looked in the fridge to grab my last piece of cheesecake then Trey came taking it out my hand "Trey what the hell!Give it back".He laughed and was about to take a bite."Don't you dare!".He laughed."I'm serious!".I said But he laughed running away as I chased him.

"Treyyy you play to much!".I whinned then thought of a good idea. I went back into the fridge and grabbed his chicken sandwich opening it acting like Im eating it and Trey walked in with the cheesecake in is hands."Jennifer don't you even do it".I put the sandwich up to my mouth."Give me my cheesecake!".

"Okay!Okay!here damn!".he said and I laughed.

"Okay we will switch off at the same time".he nodded and moved closer to me.

We traded on 3 and stood there looking at each other."You so serious about your Sandwich huh?Cuz you look like you was gonna cry".I said while taking a bite of my cheesecake, he stale faced me"Me?? you was just whining and chased me over a cheesecake". We both laughed and I took another bite of my cheesecake."Here you can have a piece".I told him holding the cheesecake up to him and he was about to reach for it."Sikeee!!!".I took it back eating the last of it, he smacked his lips and I left out the kitchen going upstairs because my phone was ringing.

I grabbed my phone off the dresser and answered it.

"Hello?"

"Hi I'm looking for Jennifer?"

"Uh?This is her who's speaking?"

"Hi my name is Iyanna, I found your number in my husbands pants pocket and I really need to tell you something very important".I frowned

"Um I'm sorry but who's your Husband?". I asked

"Deverick Gray".I immediately froze from hearing that name.

This man had a damn wife.......

"Well, Deverick and I broke up about 2 months ago but he never once mentioned he was married". I said to her

"Really? Well I'm sorry for this but I'm calling because I just took a test and there something you should know." She said sniffling I can tell she was very emotional about what ever it was she needed to say.

"What kind of test?" I asked her.

"I-I took a HIV test...and the results came back as positive".She said sobbing over the phone. "I'm sorry to hear that, but what does that have to do with me?". I question her. "I've only been with one person. Deverick and I have been together since High School, we got married after graduation and he's the only man I've been with". I started to feel myself hyperventilating, My entire body felt as if I ran into a brick wall.I felt the phone drop out of my hands as I slid down onto the floor. I could hear her saying something but all of sudden it was a huge blur and I immediately zoned out in shock.

"Hello?" I heard her say over and over as I tuned back in but I couldn't speak at this point, I was speechless because I couldn't believe what I just heard, this can't be my life right now.
