Stepping out of the portal and into their living room Corvus carefully set Cas on the couch. Cas groaned as he was put down, still hurting from what he went through. Corvus stood there for a second looking at him, he was a little worried about walking away Cas looked like he could break any second.
"I'm going to see if this place has any first aid or bandages, I'll be right back. Don't move please."
Cas nodded before Corvus walked off to the bathroom to check. He was gone for a few minutes before coming out with an armful of bandages and other first-aid equipment. He looked proud of himself as he laid it out on the coffee table beside him.
"So I'm going to need you to take some of your clothes off so I can look over what's wrong. Do you think you can stand?"
Cas didn't look very pleased about having to try to get up again. "I think I can but I'll need your help to get this shit off." He said and gestured at his ruined clothes.
Corvus leaned down and grabbed Cas's arms to help him stand. Once he was up he began assisting Cas with his shirt then his pants. Once his clothes were gone Corvus sat him back down and knelt in front of him. This was the first time he got a good look at Cas after the fight. He was really beat up, covering his body was various cuts, bruises, and burns. He also saw a white chunk in his hair. It must have happened when he exhausted himself with his magic and the guards probably made it worse. Anger coursed through him and clouded his eyes. All he could think about was what he wanted to do to those guards. Cas poked his cheek, and Corvus blinked up at him.
"You're getting angry again." He said looking down at the man in front of him. "I'm ok I promise you."
"But you're not though. Look at what happened to you, I'm going to kill them-" Corvus said angerly but was cut off.
"Stop," Cas look more serious than normal. "I'm going to be ok. And about those guards, you can throw them into prison to rot when you're in charge. You don't need to stoop to their level, be better than they think you are."
Corvus calmed down and the look on Cas's face softened. He began patching him up the best he could in this position. Putting bandage wraps on the cuts and putting a burn cream on the burns. He managed to get Cas turned around and continued his work. Once he was done he stood up to take Cas's clothes away and get him some new ones.
"I'll be right back I'm going to get some clothes for you. Are you ok with me going through your closet?"
Cas gave him a thumbs up and Corvus walked away. Corvus started going through Cas's clothes trying to find something loose fitting and comfortable but was having a hard time. All it looked like was slacks and nice shirts.
"Why does he always have to dress like a professor." He groaned.
Instead of finding anything in Cas's room he went to his own to look for something there. He made his way back to Cas with a pair of his own sweats and a t-shirt. Cas saw the clothes and looked confused.
"All you have is nice clothes. You dress like a professor all the time, so I had to get some of my own. It's fine really I don't mind."
He put the clothes on the couch and bent down to help Cas stand again. Once he was dressed and sat back down Corvus just stood there.
"Do you need anything else?" He asked.
Cas looked down nervously. "Could you sit with me for a little while?" He mumbled just loud enough for Corvus to hear.
Corvus visibly relaxed at that. "Yeah I can do that." He replied softly.
Corvus sat down in the corner of the couch and Cas leaned his back against him, partially laying down.
