(Warning: P.O.V. changes a lot)

Vincent's P.O.V.
I can't believe Jeremy got hit by a car. Everyone's so devastated, especially Mike. I think it's getting to him the most. And I know my brother is here, I just can't see him.

Scott plopped on the couch with a sigh while staring up at the ceiling. "You alright?" I sat next to him and rubbed circles in his back in a serene manner.
"Yea. I'm worried about Jeremy, its really hitting Mike hard." "I know." He gave a nano smile before leaning his upper body up, giving me a small peck on the cheeks and a hug.

I have to tell him about my brother before it's too late who knows what he might do because I know that was not just an unusual dream, it was a vision.
A warning.

"Uh, Scott..I need to tell you something." He leaned against the ledge of the couch arm rest with his feet on my lap. "What is it?"

I took a deep breath of oxygen then let it out slowly before speaking to the calm male in front of me.

"I...I have...a brother...and I think he is the real reason Jeremy is in the hospital."

My voice staggered at first, but I was able to some of it out. His expression turned from serene to disbelief and confusion.

"You have a brother?! Wait, hold on, why do you think he is the reason Jeremy is in the hospital?" Oh, if only he could understand how it was possible.

"That's something I have to tell you later, but he isn't a normal human, he has powers from something I can't tell you about. Just know that he isn't 'normal', so don't underestimate him."
As soon as those words found its way out, an ominous chuckle emerged through the air.

"What the heck was that?" Scott questioned. I knew that laugh all too well. It had to be him.

"Hello, little brother~"

"Where the hell are you?! Show yourself!" I snarled, standing from my seat. Not long after did he appear before us floating in mid-air.

"My my my, feisty are we?"

"I know you're the real reason Jeremy is in the hospital."

"What? Little ol' me? Oh, I would never.~"

"Cut the shit! It's obviously you!"

He dramatically clapped his hands together as he levitated down towards the floor. "Fine, you got me. I was only having a little fun, like this."

We were both confused until some kind of invisible force wrapped around my neck along with Scott and were lifted into the air. "Let us go!" He choked out, but it only seemed to amuse him.

"How about this instead?" He dropped me to the floor, so I thought this would be my opportunity to do something, but the moment I hit the floor I couldn't move. I was frozen.

Suddenly, I stood from where my body had fallen even though I wasn't in control of my body. He's controlling me like a puppet. "Grab the knife."

My lips wouldn't move to speak.
'What knife?' A knife was placed in my hand as he lowers Scott to the ground but keeps a good grip on his shoulders to keep him from escaping.

"Kill him." he commanded. WHAT?!
'I'm not killing him!' He smirked.
"I don't think you have a choice."
My legs moved forward and my knifed arm raised in the air till the metal object tore through his clothes into his soft skin.

"NOOO!!" I shot up covered in sweat and fear. Was that all just a dream?!
"Vince, are you okay?" Scott came rushing in and gave me a hug.
"Y...Yea..just a nightmare." He looked I at me with concern. "Are you sure?" I nodded and he let go of me sitting next my foot that poked out from the blanket.
"Well it's a little early so you can go back to sleep if you want, I'm gonna make breakfast." I blushed and looked away after Scott pecked my forehead and stood to leave the room. "You look cute when you blush." Scott chuckled before leaving my room.

"I still top in this relationship." I mumbled to myself hiding my head under the blanket. I rolled on my side and started thinking of how things changed back then. When our parents weren't desperate to get rid of us because they hated us. When that man didn't ruin my life by ruining my brothers life. When my brother wasn't evil. When our family...wasn't broken.

Scott's P.O.V.
I couldn't stop laughing as I walked to the kitchen to make Vincent's surprise.
Today was his birthday! Apparently his and Mike's birthday are back-to-back so his is tomorrow, they're like best bros., though they fight, it's normal. I plopped two pieces of toast in the toaster then pushed down the lever to get it toasting. He's gonna love this I just know it. Next, I grabbed two sticks of butter, unwrapped them, then melted it into a cup in the microwave.
Once it was done, I grabbed a plate to place the finished toast on then toasted the next to slices of bread.

-Time Skip-

After I set up the special breakfast and stuck a mini flag that said
'Happy Birthday!', something I found one of the drawers, I tip-toed into his room where he was currently hiding under his covers and lightly shook his shoulder. The blanket moved about like a fish out of water then cleared its throat before speaking. "Yes?"
"Vincent get up, foods ready." I tugged the blanket from over his upper body.
He sat up a little with his hair covering over his eyes.
"I'll be there in a minute, I have to wash my face." He whispered softly before standing up and walking into the bathroom. Is he okay? I'm getting concerned about him, ever since he told me about his brother he seems down. I'll talk with him about later he might want time to think before talking about it. Vincent looked confused when he saw me still waiting for him.
"Why are you still sitting there?" I grinned while standing up to stand behind him and cover his eyeballs with my hands. "What are you-"
"It's a present." He was silent for a minute, but then nodded and let me lead him to the kitchen. I hope he likes it because this took my an hour to toast.

Vincent's P.O.V.
What on earth is Scott doing?
"Okay open your eyes." I opened my eyes, but it was still dark.
"You've made me blind. How could you?" I chuckled at my playful-like tone. "Oh, right." The hands that covered my eyes were finally removed.
SWEET MOTHER RUSSIA!! TOAST!
SO MUCH TOAST!! I think I'm going to faint. "I feel like I've become a god."
Scott laughed at my words while shoving me forward to the table of goodness. I am drooling right now. Literally. "Stop drooling, you're getting it on the table." He smiled as he cleaned up the stain with a towel then made me sit at the table.

"Why did you do this, not that I'm complaining about it."

"Because it's you're birthday."

My birthday? OH, I forgot it was today!
"Did...did you forget your birthday?"

"N-No! It just slipped my mind is all!" I looked away from him to the floor in embarrassment.

"Wow. How did that happen?"

"I don't wanna talk about it. L-Let's eat before it gets cold." I mumbled then started eating the toast with butter.
Toast. It's so good.

"Why is your face red?"

"No it's not."

"Vincent." He put his fork down and stared at me.

Oh no! He's staring..just like the vision.
"I'm just....embarrassed..?" Real smart, Vincent.

"Awww, don't be. There's nothing to be embarrassed about." Oh how wrong you are.

We continued to eat the breakfast Scott made then got dressed to go to The pizzeria.

"Hey do you think we should check on Mike? Y'know make sure he's alright."

"Yea we don't want him to do something stupid." Scott grabbed my car keys because he said:
'It's your birthday so I'll do everything'

How did I get stuck with this big dork?
Well, I'm glad I was.

It wasn't a long car ride, so it didn't take a long time to get there. I knocked on the door three times, but didn't get an answer. I turned the knob and it easily opened up for us.
Here it goes...who knows what we'll see..
