3rd Person Perspective

Melancholy.

Silence.

That was the only thing mixed in the air of Gupta Nivaas, Jaan sighed, hearing who his mother sighed, another sigh followed hers, from Jaan's father—Raghav Gupta.

Jaan's tension? Couldn't find any bride for his brother, Tanishq.

Siya's (Jaan's mother) tension? Jaan and Tanishq.

Raghav's tension? Jaan and Siya.

"Arey Aaj idhar itni shaanti kaise hai-" Suddenly an enthusiastic voice chimed in the room.

"Naman, beta abhi chup reh." Jaan's mother asserted, gazing sympathetically at her younger son who was just playing with his food.

"Mummy... Bhai ne ek kaam diya hai aur mai wo bhi nahi kar paa raha.." Jaan sighed, his face resting on his palm. "Pagal wagal ho gaya hai kya, devdas banke rona aisa macha raha hai jaise India mein ladkiyon ka aakaal padh gaya ho. Uncle aunty ko aur tension mein daal diya—" Naman scolded Jaan, as he threw himself on the chair beside Jaan.

Jaan's mother shook her head in disbelief at the antics of Naman, ere making a plate for him. "Wah. Kya mast lag rahe hai ye rajma chawal..." He ate and everyone ignored his existence.

Their focus again on the baby of their house, Jaan Gupta.

"Jaan dekh, mai rishte ki baat chalata hu tu tension mat le.. rishte khud aajayenge. Koi na koi to hoga jo apni behen beti ke liye ache rishte ki talash mein hoga—"

Jai hanuman gyaan gun saagar
Jai kapish teehu lok ujaagar

Raghav's phone rang.

"Namaste, Raghav Ji se baat ho rahi hai?" A youthful voice respectfully stated from the other side of the phone,

"Ji haan. Aap ki tareef?" Jaan's father said, "Yash Kumar. Maine Tanishq ji ka bio data dekha tha, To rishte ke liye—"

"Tanishq ke liye?" Raghav said with widened eyes, and suddenly everyone's focus was on him. "Ji, Hum sab hi ko wo bohot ache lage" Yash asserted calmly from the other side.

"Ji zarur toh fir ab.." Raghav hesitantly gazed at his family. Okay. He's the eldest but there's always a first time for everything. He never did this talking for marriage things.

Hearing Raghav talk with Yash, Jaan had his hopes high. He was now on the table getting as close as he could with every word Raghav spoke.

"Haan to aap log aajaiye meri behen ko dekhne. Aap ko jab sahi lage hume bata dijiye?" Yash said, Jaan mouthed his father to ask for the biodata of the girl but the elder found it awkward. So he just did what most people do to escape from some conversations.

Agreed.

"Thik hai ji fir hum kal dopeher aajayenge. Aap hume address bhej dijiyega." The elder male retorted, "Acha laga ki aapke jaise successful businessman ne approach kia mujhe, mere bete ke liye." he smiled.

"Thank you Sir, but trust me I'm more honoured to be talking with you. RS CORPORATIONS ko kaun nahi jaanta... Aap to har passionate insaan ki inspiration ho. Aur aakhir kaar, Tanishq Gupta bhi ye hi kar rahe hai industry mein." Yash said, and Raghav felt pride hearing him. But he shrugged it with a chuckle.

"Sab bhagwan ki kripa hai. Chaliye fir kal milte hai." Raghav said and hung up on Yash after hearing a 'Ji Namaste' from him.

"Papaa Papa bataoooo" Jaan curiously queried observing his cheeky dad, "Kya batau?"
