WARNİNG: MENTİONS OF ED AND MİNOR CHARACTER DEATH RELATED TO İT!!!!!!
The first year in Korea had been a tremendous challenge for Felix. The language barrier proved formidable, and he found himself yearning for his family back home. Moreover, he often felt like an outsider, struggling to connect with others in the first few months. However, his life took a turn when he was recruited as a freelance model.
Felix's passion for cooking was undeniable, but it became a source of conflict when his agency began to criticize his weight gain from sampling his own culinary creations. Determined not to disappoint those around him, Felix stopped indulging in his own dishes and instead encouraged his friends to taste them. The compliments poured in, praising Felix's appearance, but internally, he grappled with guilt every time he prepared a meal.
His relationship with food became increasingly complicated, eventually leading to hospitalization due to an eating disorder. It was during this challenging time that Felix found solace in a girl named Nayeon, who was also battling an eating disorder. In Nayeon, Felix discovered someone who understood his struggles, and she became his anchor in Korea, a big sister even.
Nayeon's presence gave Felix the strength to confront his issues and strive for recovery. However, everything changed when he received a distressing call from her. Racing to her home, Felix's heart sank as he discovered Nayeon lying on the floor, surrounded by her own vomit. Despite his shock and panic, he composed himself and called 911, but tragically, Nayeon had already passed away, losing her battle with the illness.
Her death served as a wake-up call for Felix. He realized that he couldn't continue living in denial about his own struggles. Dropping out of his agency, he made a courageous decision to confront his relationship with food and seek help through therapy. While therapy provided some solace, Felix still felt a deep sense of loneliness and isolation.
Upon his therapist's recommendation, Felix explored group counseling as a means of finding connection and support amidst shared experiences of trauma. He hoped that by opening up to others and bonding over their collective challenges, he could find a sense of belonging and understanding that had eluded him for so long.

What Felix hadn't anticipated was the reluctance of many in the group to share their own struggles. He approached the sessions with a willingness to open up, starting by disclosing his own battle with an eating disorder. While he hoped his honesty would encourage others to follow suit, he understood that it might take time for them to feel comfortable enough to do so.
Felix made it clear that he was there to listen and support others, hoping to foster an environment of trust and empathy. Though some, like Changbin and Jisung, initially harbored doubts, Felix remained optimistic that they would eventually open up.
When Changbin approached him and inquired about his readiness to talk, Felix responded honestly, admitting, "I just realized it was time to face some things." Though it wasn't the most elaborate answer, it was the best he could offer at the moment.
As they conversed, their attention was abruptly drawn to a commotion nearby. Rushing to the source of the noise, they discovered a fellow member of the counseling group, Jeongin, being confronted and physically threatened by another individual.
"You understood, you freak!" the aggressor shouted. Felix immediately approached, demanding the guy release him.
"Let him go, you asshole!" Felix yelled. The guy smirked arrogantly, taunting him with a derogatory term. In response, Felix unleashed a swift kick, knocking the aggressor to the ground.
"For someone so arrogant, you sure are weak," Felix remarked, his anger palpable. Changbin, watching in awe, couldn't help but grin. "I would help, but it looks like you got everything under control," he teased.
Changbin stepped in to help Jeongin up. Despite the fatigue, the aggressor mustered all his strength to stand and issued a warning to Jeongin before leaving, "This is not over." Jeongin, however, burst into laughter.
"That was so cool!" he exclaimed.
"I must agree," Changbin added, impressed by Felix's unexpected display of strength.
"Oh, it's nothing. I just know a bit of taekwondo," Felix replied, his cheeks tinged with a blush. He shifted his attention to Jeongin and asked, "Are you okay?"
Jeongin reassured them, "Yeah, thanks for helping out, and you don't have to worry."
Changbin, however, took a more serious tone, stating, "If you're being bullied, that is serious, you know."
"It's nothing, really. Thanks for helping. I should go," Jeongin said, a warm smile gracing his face, revealing his dimples. Felix couldn't help but feel a sense of confusion – he had just intervened to prevent Jeongin from getting beaten up, and yet Jeongin was smiling so brightly. Before they could respond or inquire further, Jeongin swiftly disappeared from the scene.
