 Jeongin always considered himself a regular guy. Sure, he might be a bit more old-fashioned compared to others his age, but at the end of the day, he was just a normal 18-year-old who had recently started university. That sense of normalcy took an unexpected turn when he noticed a foreign car parked near his home one day. The car stood out, a stark contrast to the usual vehicles in their humble neighborhood. At first, he was merely curious about the fancy car, but his attention shifted when he realized that the people inside were heavily making out.

As he was about to avert his gaze, a strange sense of familiarity struck him. His curiosity got the better of him, prompting him to discreetly observe the car. Despite feeling like a bit of a creep, an instinct in his gut urged him to find out who the woman was. To his surprise, as the woman exited the car, he recognized her – it was none other than his mom. Jeongin suddenly felt a mix of disgust and anger.

His mom's expression shifted from feigned innocence to a subtle acknowledgment of guilt. She sighed, realizing that the truth could no longer be concealed. "Jeongin, I... I didn't want you to find out like this."

"Find out what? That you've been cheating?" Jeongin's voice cracked with a mixture of anger and hurt.

His mom nodded, avoiding direct eye contact. "I know it's wrong, and I regret it. It's just... things have been difficult between your father and me, and I made a mistake."

Jeongin felt a surge of frustration. "A mistake? This isn't just a mistake, Mom. It's a betrayal of our family. How could you?"

His mom's eyes welled up with tears, remorse evident in her voice. "Jeongin, I never meant to hurt you or your father. It's complicated, and I'm not proud of my actions."
