Minho hadn't expected to encounter anyone from the counseling group, especially not Jisung— the last person he wanted to see during one of his shifts at the cafe. Jisung wasn't a regular, that was for sure, as Minho would have recognized him during the counseling session. Minho contemplated begging one of his coworkers to take Jisung's table, not because he was nervous, but rather because he didn't want to be bothered by the guy who, for no apparent reason, had glared at him for two hours straight during counseling. As Minho was about to approach his coworker, Sunwoo, to delegate the table to him, Sunwoo declared he would take a five-minute break, leaving Minho to handle the tables.

To his surprise, Sunwoo sat next to Jisung. That was strange; Minho didn't keep track of Sunwoo's friends, but he was certain he would have noticed Jisung if he had visited before. Minho found himself subtly spying on them while responding to a customer's call for a waiter. Snapping out of it, he resumed his work. However, it didn't take long for another table, this time Sunwoo's, to summon a waiter.

"Hyung, can you take an order for us, please?" Sunwoo shouted.

"Sunwoo, you're on duty right now. Wouldn't it make more sense for you to take your friend's order?" Minho retorted.

"But I'm currently on break," Sunwoo replied with a smile. Minho shot him a murderous glare before turning to Jisung.

"May I take your order?" Minho inquired with a stoic expression. Jisung, surprisingly, began blushing out of nowhere. Was it hot in here? Minho wondered. Or was he acting lika a shy guy because Sunwoo was present?

"Ugh, yes, I would like a cheesecake and an iced Americano, please," Jisung mumbled without meeting Minho's eyes.

"One iced Americano and a cheesecake coming right up," Minho confirmed. As he turned away, he couldn't help overhearing Sunwoo's loud exclamation, "Dude, what was that?" followed by a painful groan.

Upon returning, Minho found the two chatting normally. Minho put Jisung's orders infront of him, but before he could leave Sunwoo had a suggestion.

"You know what, I think I had a break for too long. To make it up to you, why don't you sit down next to Jisung, and let me take care of the upcoming customers, hyung?" Sunwoo proposed. Before Minho could object, Sunwoo pushed him towards the seat across from Jisung.

Minho was about to go after Sunwoo when he realized that facing things head-on might be the best approach sometimes. So, Minho stayed and decided to ask Jisung the question that had been on his mind for nearly a week.

"Did I offend you or say something that made you mad during the session?"

Jisung, taken aback by Minho's question, tried to collect his thoughts. He hadn't expected Minho to bring up the counseling session, and certainly not with such a direct question.

"Offend me? No, not at all," Jisung stammered, still slightly flustered.

Minho raised an eyebrow. "So, if it wasn't a glare of hatred, why were you glaring at me then?"

"I was actually... staring at you, but not in a bad way. I thought you were really handsome, and I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable."

Minho's expression shifted from confusion to surprise, and then he let out a small laugh. The tension that had lingered between them seemed to dissipate instantly.

"Wait, you were staring because you found me handsome?" Minho chuckled, disbelief evident in his voice.

Jisung's face turned a shade redder. "Yeah, I guess I got caught up in my thoughts, and I didn't realize it might come off as a glare."

Minho couldn't help but find the situation amusing. "Well, that explains a lot. I thought you hated me or something."

Jisung joined in the laughter, relieved that Minho took it lightly. "Definitely not. Sorry for the confusion."
