PROLOGUE

2:15AM kst

26th February, 2024

In the dead of night when everyone is asleep, the sound of butchering is heard from an abandoned house deep in the woods. Suddenly, someone's horrified screams echoed from the house accompanied by a creepy laugh.

'Please don't kill me I beg you! What did I ever do to you?'

He devilishly laughed while taking out intestines from the dead body infront of the man, 'Why are you screaming? I told you we are gonna have fun just let me finish chopping this lady's heart then you'll get your answer' he winked at the terrified man.

He whistled a creepy tune and kept slicing the dead body without any mercy. Horrified by his actions the poor man tried to escape, he successfully untied the ropes and started running towards the exit door. Unfortunately a knife was thrown at him and it stabbed his right leg.

The poor man fell on the floor and looked at the monster with tearful and pleading eyes,' Please don't'  The abnormal beast stared at him with amused eyes, 'Your attempt to betray me again is quite audacious hyung' saying this he slowly walked towards his victim.

The poor thing trembled in fear and began to move backwards. The monster pulled the man by his leg and grabbed his neck harshly. He glared at the man with fury and spat, 'You left me alone when I was in need, YOU BROKE YOUR PROMISE!!'.

The man in front of him sulked in guilt, 'I am sorry but I was helpless, I love her so much and I didn't want to force her.' The man started to cry, 'She doesn't love you please let her go! PLEASE!'

Within a second the victim's throat was cut open and blood covered the whole floor. The monster threw the body on the floor and sat down with an innocent smile. He witnessed his victim's life slowly draining out with cold eyes. 'Tchk tchk! I wanted to have some fun with you hyung, why did you have to make me angry?' he rolled his eyes in annoyance. The lifeless man on the floor just stared at the heartless monster with wide eyes.

The evil man stained his fingers with blood and licked his fingertips. He moaned in satisfaction, 'Damn!! You taste so sweet hyung!' He stood up giggling like a maniac, and went to another room as he remembered something. He turned on the lights and stared at the walls that were adorned with her pictures, the reason of his madness. He scribbled on her pictures with blood on his hand and gazed them with dark eyes.

'Looks like my baby is having fun without me huh? How can you forget me my love? You really thought you can betray me, make me a monster and have a good life with another man?'. He let out a terrible laugh that can make any normal human tremble with fear.

'Not so soon my love, because you can never outrun the devil'
