Chapter: FOUR

Author's POV

While everyone was sound asleep, someone was in excruciating pain and drinking like a nutcase. He was unable to process the view that he saw today. The love of his life was blushing and drooling on some other man. Only if he could tell her how much he loves her!
He continued to sip alcohol to ease his agonizing pain. But he felt restless, anger seared into every cell in his body. With a loud thud he shattered the whiskey bottle.
His older brother jogged out of his room and witnessed the mess his younger made. He felt a pang in his heart, but he was helpless. He picked up his drunk brother and went inside.

NEXT DAY

7:20 AM

Yunhee was in a happy mood today, she checked herself in the mirror numerous times. Suddenly she felt very self-conscious about the way she looked. Last night's memories played in her head and anxiety seeped through her as she thought about facing Jungkook. But she knew she had to. She left for her office after eating breakfast and saying goodbye to her family.

AT THE OFFICE

Jihyo was peacefully dozing off when Yunhee jumped on her.

'Good morninggggg swweetyy!!' Yunhee hugged her so tightly.

Poor Jihyo was flabbergasted because of the sudden action.

She held her chest in panic, 'The fuck Yunhee?? You want me to die of heart attack or what?? Who says good morning like this?'

Yunhee laughed and moved away from her, 'Sorryy I just got very excited when I saw you!'

Jihyo grinned and eyed her suspiciously, 'You seem very happy today, what is the reason babe??'

Yunhee sheepishly smiled, 'haha n-nothing! Happy? Not at all!' Jihyo was about to throw some more questions at her but she noticed Jimin coming towards them with a smile.

She instantly ran to him and hugged him, 'Good morning love! Did you sleep well last night?'

Jimin kissed her head and replied, 'Yes I did baby, what are you both talking about early in this morning?'

'Oh your bestie seems very excited and happy today, I was asking her the reason.'

They both looked at Yunhee in a suspicious manner.

Yunhee retorted, 'Yaaa you two! Am I not allowed to be happy? There is no reason I am just in a good mood that's it!' she shrugged her shoulder in an obvious manner to make them believe what she said.

But the reason of her excitement suddenly barged into their conversation.

'GOOD MORNING MY LOVELY FRIENDS!!'

That voice made Yunhee's heart race like a marathon. Her gaze followed Jimin and Jihyo, only to find him smiling contentedly at them.

'What are ya'll doing here?? Are you guys planning a picnic?' Jungkook mocked and stepped towards his friends.

In Yunhee's eyes, he looked different today. Jungkook's black formal suit made him appear like a hot cooked meal.
