Kashish pov :
I wake up early today, knowing that it's the day I leave for Delhi to pursue my further studies. It still feels surreal that I've been admitted to my dream college, SRCC at Delhi University. The excitement bubbles within me as I prepare to venture out alone, breaking the norms of my family where girls aren't encouraged to pursue education. Yet, my father has always been my staunch supporter, providing me with everything I need, be it luxury, education, or the freedom to chase my dreams of entrepreneurship. Grateful for his unwavering support, I've packed my bags, ready to embark on this new journey.
We set out for Delhi, with my cousin brother at the wheel, my parents in the backseat, and me in the passenger seat. Upon arrival, we navigate through the necessary formalities to secure a hostel room. While waiting for Ritika, my best friend who also secured admission in the same college but for a different course, I reflect on our friendship that has stood the test of time since our school days. Despite pursuing different courses - me opting for B.Com Honours and her for BBA - we're thrilled to be roommates in the same hostel.
After completing the formalities, we settle into our rooms with the help of our parents who then bid us farewell and return to Agar. Our hostel room accommodates four students, with Shreya and Divya as our roommates. Shreya will be in my class, while Divya will be with Ritika. As we introduce ourselves and engage in the typical girly chatter and gossip, Shreya and Divya fill us in on the college details, having arrived earlier and explored the campus.
Exhausted from the journey, we eventually drift off to sleep, eagerly anticipating the freshers' party awaiting us the next day.

The next day 🌅
The following morning, as I awoke, a sense of excitement and anticipation filled me, marking the beginning of this new chapter in my life. We all busied ourselves with preparations for the freshers' party, which had an Indian theme. Donning a black saree adorned with shimmering glitter on the border and a backless blouse, I felt both elegant and confident.

After getting ready, we gathered and made our way to the venue, the campus field, where our seniors had meticulously arranged everything. The seniors had spared no effort in adorning the venue for the freshers' party, transforming the campus field into a mesmerizing spectacle. Colorful fairy lights twinkled overhead, casting a warm glow over the gathering. Strands of marigold and jasmine adorned the makeshift stage, infusing the air with their sweet fragrance. At the entrance, a grand archway, adorned with vibrant ribbons and floral garlands, welcomed each newcomer with open arms. Tables draped in elegant fabrics and adorned with flickering candles provided cozy spots for conversations to flourish. The overall ambiance was one of enchantment and excitement, setting the perfect stage for the new journey ahead.
As night fell, the atmosphere buzzed with energy and enthusiasm. The freshers' ramp walk showcased our diverse styles and personalities, while the talent show provided a platform for those eager to display their skills and abilities. It was a night filled with laughter, camaraderie, and the promise of new friendships and experiences.
As I indulged in delicious treats with my friends, reveling in my love for food, a familiar voice singing a melodious tune caught my attention.
Baatein Zaruri Hain
Tera Milna Bhi Zaruri
Maine Mita Deni
Ye Jo Teri Meri DooriHa Ha Ha Haaa
Hmmm Baatein Zaruri Hain
Tera Milna Bhi Zaruri
Maine Mita Deni
Ye Jo Teri Meri DooriThe lyrics stirred something within me, evoking memories I had tried to bury deep inside. With a mix of surprise and disbelief, I realized it was him - the person I least expected to encounter in this moment.
Despite my reluctance, curiosity propelled me forward, and I hurried towards the source of the song.
Jhuthi Hai Wo Raahe Saari Duniya Ki
Ishq Jaha Naa Chale
Tera Hona Mera Hona Kya Hona
Agar Na Dono MileTu Pehla Pehla Pyar Hai Mera
Tu Pehla Pehla Pyar Hai Mera
Tu Pehla Pehla Pyaar Hai Mera
Tu Pehla Pehla Pyaar Hai Mera HaanHa Ha Ha Haaa
As I laid eyes on him, a rush of conflicting emotions washed over me. He was the last person I wanted to see, yet here he was, his presence unraveling a tapestry of unresolved feelings.
His soulful rendition filled the air, each note echoing the echoes of our past.
Wo Shehar Wade Honge Boriyat Bhare
Rehta Nahi Jinme Tu Sang Mere
Khabar Tujhe Bhi Hai Ye
Raunake Sabhi Hoti Tere Hone Se
Tere Bina Tanha Koyi Kya KareAise Sabhi Sheharo Pe Mujhko
Taras Hai Aata Bada Haan
Tere Liye Main Na Jaha Khada OooMilo Ka Ho Saalo Ka Ho Jaaye Wo
Safar Ki Parwah Nahi
Tu Hai Jaha Maine Waha Hona Hai
Pahuch Hai Jaana WahiMemories intertwined with the melody, weaving a bittersweet symphony of longing and regret. I stood frozen, torn between the desire to confront him and the urge to flee from the pain of our shared history.
In that moment, amidst the music and the crowd, I found myself grappling with the unspoken truths that lingered between us, unsure of what the future held and whether I was ready to face it.
As I laid eyes on him, my heart skipped a beat. He stood there, just as I remembered him - tall and effortlessly handsome, with a guitar slung over his shoulder, his fingers expertly strumming the strings. His dark hair framed his face, and his eyes, a captivating shade of brown, held a depth that drew me in.
Despite the passage of time, he exuded the same charm and charisma that had once captivated me. His presence seemed to command the attention of everyone around him, yet his gaze remained focused on the music, his expression filled with passion and intensity.
I found myself momentarily lost in the memory of our shared moments, the laughter, the whispered conversations, and the unspoken promises. But beneath the surface, a torrent of emotions raged - longing, regret, and the undeniable pull of unfinished business.
Pehla Pehla Pyar Hai Mera
Tu Pehla Pehla Pyar Hai Mera
Tu Pehla Pehla Pyaar Hai Mera
Pehla Pehla Pyaar Hai MeraJeete Jee To Jeetega Na
Ye Fansla Hai Pata
Saanse Chale Teri Taraf
Jaise Chale Raasta
Mera Hai Tu, Tu Hai Khalish
Ya Hai Khushi Ya Khata
Tere Siva Mera Jaha Se Na Koyi WastaAs he continued to sing, his voice weaving a spellbinding melody, I couldn't help but be mesmerized by the raw emotion that infused his performance. In that moment, all the barriers I had built around my heart threatened to crumble, leaving me vulnerable to the irresistible allure of our shared past.
