Next day 🌅
Author's pov:As Abhishek and Kashish found themselves in the classroom the next day, a sense of embarrassment hung in the air, their faces flushed with the memory of their accidental kiss. When Ritika noticed Kashish's blushing face, she couldn't resist teasing her .
Ritika: playfully "Arre wah, Kashish! Aaj toh teri sharam ka rang dekh ke lagta hai kuch khaas hua hai kal raat ko."
Kashish: trying to play it cool "Kuch nahi yaar, bas thoda awkward moment tha."
Ritika: grinning mischievously "Oh ho, kya baat hai! Lagta hai kisi special vyakti ne tere dil ko chhua hai."
Kashish: feeling flustered "Ritika, bas bhi kar! Kuch bhi mat soch, woh kuch bhi nahi tha."
Ritika: raising an eyebrow "Arey, main toh bas mazaak kar rahi thi. Par kya pata, shayad kuch hua ho. Abhishek ko dekh ke teri muskurahat dekh ke lagta hai kuch toh hai!"
Kashish: blushing deeper "Ritika, yaar, please! Kuch bhi mat bol."
Their conversation continued in whispers, Ritika's teasing persisting as Kashish struggled to maintain her composure, not wanting to reveal the truth about the previous day's kiss. And as the class went on, the tension between Kashish and Abhishek remained palpable, their unspoken feelings lingering in the air, waiting to be addressed.
After the class, Kashish and Abhishek found themselves lingering awkwardly, unsure of what to say to each other. Abhishek broke the silence, speaking to Kashish about the events of the previous night.
Abhishek: awkwardly "Uh, Kashish... kal raat ka... woh..."
Kashish: nervously "Haan, Abhishek?"
Abhishek: hesitantly "Kal raat... woh kiss... wo humara... matlab..."
Kashish: flushing with embarrassment "Haan, wo... woh toh bas ek galti thi, Abhishek. Humne... humne kuch socha nahi tha."
Abhishek: softly "Main bhi... main bhi wahi soch raha tha. Galti se hua tha."
Their words hung in the air, both feeling a mix of relief and discomfort at addressing the elephant in the room. Despite their attempts to downplay the significance of the accidental kiss, the lingering tension between them was undeniable.
Abhishek: clearing his throat "Chalo, um, main chalta hoon. Milte hain, Kashish."
Kashish: nodding "Haan, milte hain, Abhishek."

After some time...
As Kashish reflected on the events of the previous night, her mind wandered to the significance of her first kiss. She couldn't deny the flutter of excitement and warmth that filled her heart at the thought of sharing that moment with Abhishek, her first love. Yet, amidst the whirlwind of emotions, a pang of regret lingered within her.
Kashish: softly to herself "That kiss... it was my first. My very first kiss, and it was with Abhishek. I should be happy, right?"
But even as she tried to reassure herself, a part of her couldn't shake the feeling that something was missing.
Kashish: thoughtfully "But it wasn't how I imagined it to be. I always dreamed that my first kiss would be special, romantic... not an awkward accident in a crowded cafe."
Despite her conflicting emotions, Kashish couldn't help but smile at the memory of the kiss, the warmth of Abhishek's lips against hers still fresh in her mind.
Kashish: reflectively "But then again, maybe it doesn't matter how it happened. What's important is that it happened with him, with Abhishek. And in its own way, that makes it special, doesn't it?"

After some time
In the basketball groundAs Abhishek, Rishab, and Harshit played basketball, Rishab couldn't help but notice a change in Abhishek's demeanor since his return from the date.
Rishab: "Abhishek, kuch toh gadbad hai kal se. Kya hua tha tumhare aur Kashish ke beech?"
Abhishek: "Arre yaar, kuch bhi nahi hua. First date tha, bas."
Harshit: "Pakka kuch toh hua hai. Dekh class mein dono kitne awkward the. Kuch chhupa raha hai tu."
Their conversation continued as they playfully teased Abhishek, but his mind was elsewhere. He couldn't shake the feeling of unease that had settled within him since the accidental kiss with Kashish.
Abhishek: to himself "It was my first kiss... I know it was Kashish's first too. I wanted it to be special. What have you done, Abhishek?"
Lost in his thoughts, Abhishek grappled with the realization that the kiss, though meaningful in its own way, had not been the special moment he had hoped for. With a sense of regret weighing heavily on his mind, he resolved to make things right and create a truly memorable experience for both himself and Kashish in the future.
