As the evening approached, the group was faced with a choice: to take a cable car ride or embark on a hike to Gun Hill, the second highest peak in Mussoorie. The professor turned to the students for their opinions, and the majority favored hiking the mountain.

Professor: "Alright, everyone, we have two options for the evening: a cable car ride or a hike to Gun Hill. What's your preference?"

Student 1: "Let's hike! It'll be an adventure."

Student 2: "I agree, hiking sounds awesome!"

Kashish: hesitant "Um, I'm not sure about hiking..."

Abhishek: smiling "Come on, Kashish, it'll be fun! Think of the amazing views we'll see."

Tanmay: nodding "Yeah, hiking will be a great way to experience the beauty of Mussoorie."

Abhishek: suddenly appearing "Absolutely! You can't miss out on this, Kashish. Trust me, you'll love it."

Kashish: sighing "Okay, fine, I'll give it a try."

As Abhishek's persuasive words worked their magic, Kashish reluctantly agreed to join the hiking excursion, her heart fluttering with a mix of apprehension and excitement. With Abhishek's encouragement by her side, she felt a newfound determination to conquer the mountain and make the most of the adventure ahead.

As the group began their ascent up the mountain trail, Kashish found herself walking alongside Tanmay, engaging in light conversation as they navigated the rugged terrain.

Tanmay: pointing to a distant peak "Look at that view, Kashish! Isn't it stunning?"

Kashish: nodding, smiling "It really is. Mussoorie is such a beautiful place."

Their easy banter and shared appreciation for the scenic surroundings drew them closer, much to Abhishek's chagrin. Watching from a distance, Abhishek couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy as he observed Kashish and Tanmay enjoying each other's company.

Abhishek: muttering to himself "Why is she so comfortable around him? And why do they seem to be hitting it off so well?"

Determined not to let his feelings get the best of him, Abhishek pushed aside his jealousy and made his way over to Kashish and Tanmay, joining in on their conversation with forced nonchalance.

Abhishek: smiling "Hey, guys! Enjoying the hike?"

Kashish: glancing at Abhishek "Yeah, it's been great so far. Tanmay was just telling me about his last hiking trip."

Tanmay: nodding "Yeah, it was quite an adventure. You should join us next time, Abhishek."

Abhishek: forcing a smile "Maybe I will. For now, let's focus on reaching the summit together."

As the trio continued their hike, Abhishek couldn't help but feel increasingly uneasy as he watched Kashish and Tanmay interact. With each passing moment, his jealousy threatened to consume him, fueling a desire to assert his presence and reclaim Kashish's attention.

Abhishek: trying to sound casual "So, Tanmay, how long have you known Kashish?"

Tanmay: cheerfully "Oh, we met a while back when Kashish transferred to our school. We hit it off right away."
