We walk inside and get to the elevator. "Once I get the next few paychecks, I'll be moving so dont worry haha."

"Okay good," he says as we step into the elevator, his hand on your lower back walking you in. 

'be cool be cool be cool' you say to yourself. 

"You acted just like one of us tonight, not like a boss at all, it was refreshing," you say.

"Yeah well we are all friends there and we all work together. I want a chill work environment where everyone in comfortable. And I dont really like the whole boss mentality thing. Everyone is equal there," He smiles at you as the elevator rings and the doors open. 

You start walking forward, "Okay well I can take it from here tha-" your heel gets lodged in between and elevator and the main floor, and you fall forward and slam into the ground. You cry out in pain. You twisted your ankle really bad.

"Shit! are you okay???!!" Itachi rushes over and grabs my hand and waist to help me up. 

"Yeah im fi-" You wince as soon as you try to put pressure on your ankle. "ow"

"You mustve twisted it bad when you fell, I'll help you grab onto me. 

Blushing, you wrap your arm around his back to help steady you while he holds onto you tightly. You guys move through the hallway to your apartment. 

You get out your key and unlock the door while he holds you. "Let me help you inside." You dont want him to see the inside because its not a super nice place and were embarrassed because he probably has a super nice place.

"Its okay I'm fine," but then as soon as you try to walk your leg gives out again and you begin falling to the floor. If you hadnt been drinking you coulve totally hopped on one leg and been fine. 

Itachi catches you in his arms and pulls you up. You guys look into each others eyes, your faces are inches apart. 

"Okay...... please help," you say to him. He gives you a gentle smile and picks you up bridal style and you wrap your arms around him because you were surprised. You let out a small noise, not expecting that and he lets out a low laugh. 

He carries you inside and sets you down so youre laying on the couch. Without saying anything he walks over to your kitchen and grabs the dish towel. 

"what are you doing??" 

He opens the freezer and gets out ice. "I'm getting you this for your ankle to help with the swelling." 

"oh.." he walks over and puts it on your ankle for you. "Thank you..." you just look at him. That was like super sweet of him. (*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ*.ﾟ You blush a little. 

"i really appreciate everything youve done." you started, "Im sorry if I'm burdening you, I told you i was kinda clumsy haha."

"Dont apologize its okay, im happy that i was here to help," he smiles at you and your heart melts. 

You didnt realize how tired you were until now. You feel exhausted and its all catching up with you and its super late. You are trying hard to keep your eyes open. 

"Sorry i'm really...tired, " you say now with your eyes closed. Itachi does another small low laugh and pulls and blanket over you. 

"Okay, goodnight (y/n)," you can hear the smile in his voice and you feel his hand touch your face and then move a hair behind your hear. You try really hard to hide your smile and but a little shows.

Then you fall into a deep deep sleep.

You slowly open your eyes. Your head is pounding. You groan as you roll over and sit yourself up. You try to stand and wince, "Fuck.... ugh this sucks."

You start to remember last night and Itachi helping you get home. You vaguely remember him touching your face, it seemed like a dream. 

You limp your way to the shower and take off last nights clothes and makeup. Starting a day like that is the actual worst (iykyk). 

The shower feels good. Like you are washing away the chaotic night you had. You take an ibprofen and make yourself some food. 

When you check your phone you see you have a message from Itachi. 'oh thats right, he gave me his number.'

itachi: hey, i hope ur feeling okay today and that ur ankle isnt too messed up. text me when you wake up.

... 'ok thats cute hehe' 'why tf am i smiling at my phone'

me: hi, im a little hungover but my ankle isnt too bad I can walk on it now. Thanks again for taking care of me last night! 

and then you throw your phone at the couch, you're so nervous to text him. You pace around the kitchen drinking some tea. You are acting like a school girl. You need to come to terms with the fact that you maybe have a teeny tiny little crush on him. But you dont wanna be that girl that sleeps with her boss, AND its been 1 week.... 

You grab your phone and call Ino and tell her what happened. She freaks out and is kinda obsessed with it. Like she ships us hardcore, but understand why youre being so reserved about it. She said to just see where things go. Because if you think that there are other secret couples in the office then maybe its not sooooo crazy. 

She made you feel better about the whole situation. You get a text.

itachi: you're welcome, I had fun, I liked spending time with you :)

"AHHHHHH" you squeal! You dont know what to say. Hes being so forward but you dont know if you should back or if you should play it cool. You were the one who flirted with him last night when you bumped into him so idk. 

me: I had fun with you too! 

ok just gonna play it cool dont wanna get too crazy too quick. Monday is gonna be so weird. Ok no! youre not gonna make it weird. Youre gonna be totally chill and confident and that bitch.
