"He's precious" Aroura held the newborn kit in her arms, her tail swaying happily as she looked down at the sleeping child.

Aurora had wanted to have kits for a long time, but she never knew how to bring it up to her partners. Today was going to be the day she asked them. She sat in her room thinking of what to say. There was a soft knock on the door, Aurora opened it to see sunshine, one of her partners standing there. "What's up?" Aroura asked, slightly nervous because she was still thinking about the conversation she needed to have with them. "I just wanted to see if you were ok? you've been in here all day." Aroura nodded "yeah I'm fine, just had some things on my mind." Sunshine smiled, pulling Aurora out of her room. "What are you doing?" Aurora inquired. "Well now that I know you're ok, I'm making you come out of your room and spend time with your mates." Aurora chuckled and sunshine pulled her into the common room where cumulus and cirrus were sitting on the couch. 

All four ghoulettes were now cuddled up on the couch watching a movie. "Can I ask you guys something?" Aurora asked, taking some popcorn. "Of course, you know you can always ask us anything." Cirrus replied, resting  her head on top of Aurora's. "Would you ever want to have kits?" Aurora asked, nervous for their reply. The three ghoulettes froze. They had never thought about their future, especially not kits. Even so, they smiled at her question. "We would love to have kits" cumulus answered for the group, knowing they felt the same.  Aurora lit up. "Really?" They nodded in unison. "Although how would we do it?" Sunshine inquired. "Would we adopt or would one of us get pregnant with a sperm donor?" Aurora hadn't thought about that, she thought it would be best if she left it up to her partners. "I don't really know, I thought you guys could choose." Aurora stated. "I don't know, I mean I don't want any of us to go through the pain of childbirth but at the same time I kind of want the kit to be related to at least one of us." Sunshine chimed in. Eventually they decided to adopt a kit.

For a few months they kept trying to adopt a kit from the ministry nursery but every time, something went wrong. At one point Aurora offered to find a donor and give birth but they decided against it because they could tell she was just frustrated with not being able to adopt. That was until one night, the four of them were cuddling in cirrus' room and there was a knock on the door. Cirrus opened the door, Swiss was standing on the other side and he looked like he was panicking. Cirrus let him in and told him to sit down on one of the many beanbag chairs in her room. She asked him what was wrong and he broke down into tears. Eventually they got him to calm down enough to tell them what was wrong. Apparently Swiss had been drunk one night and had sex with one of the sisters of sin in the ministry. She got pregnant and was scared that she would get in trouble with sister imperator for having relations with a ghoul, so she couldn't use the ministry clinic to get an abortion and she couldn't tell any of the clergy members because they would rat her out to imperator so she had to suffer in silence and some home hide a baby from the entire ministry.

The ghoulettes looked at each other with hopeful smiles on their faces.  "What?" Swiss looked at the ghoulettes curiously. He didn't know what he had said to make them smile. "Well, we were actually looking to adopt a child. So if the sister of sin you speak of wants to give up her child, we would be more than happy to take the child into our care." Cumulus said from the other side of the room. The next morning they talked to the sister of sin that Swiss had told them about and she said she would gladly let them have her child.

The ghoulettes (with the sister's permission ofc) went to all of the appointments regarding the baby and were there to support her when the time did come to give birth to the child.  They supported the young girl though all of it. Mostly to make sure she was ok without any other support systems, but also to prove to her that they would make good parents for her baby. Once the child was born the sister immediately handed him to Aurora , so she wouldn't get attached to him. "He's precious" Aroura held the newborn kit in her arms, her tail swaying happily as she looked down at the sleeping child. "What will you name him?" The sister inquired. The ghoulettes had been thinking about a name for the child for a while and they eventually came up with a name. "We will name him Quinn" sunshine said with a smile on her face.
