It was a Sunday.
Jeromy and I were parked outside the ice cream shop.
We hopped out and walked inside.
I ordered a chocolate ice cream while he ordered a vanilla and strawberry ice cream.
Jeromy paid, and we left the shop. We hopped back in the car, and I started licking the ice cream.
"Sometimes I dream about walking through the woods and seeing the rotting body of James. I was so disgusted." He said sadly.
I almost vomited.
I immediately felt guilty.
I killed him. It's my fault.
"I'm sorry. I should not have said while you're eating." He apologised.
"It's ok," I said.
We continued licking our ice cream in silence.
It was 23 minutes later.
He dropped me off at home. I walked inside and into my room. I lay down on my bed and tried to sleep, but I couldn't.
I couldn't stop thinking about James and how Ruby and I killed him.
