"How did you know that?"

Nai and Alias walked down the street; shops lined on either side. Nai was looking around, eyes wide with wonder as he dragged Alias along with him, smiling ear to ear as he saw all that was happening around them. The buildings tall, items on display in windows, and the smell of street food. Alias couldn't help but laugh softly at Nai's clear excitement, finding it rather endearing as Nai looked like a child in a candy store.
This is one of many shopping streets, unofficially of course but Alias knew this place like the back of his hand, it has the lowest prices in the area, so Alias often shopped here. Though most of Alias's old favorite shops have been closed due to the buildings being too old or the buildings being sold off to some bigger companies.
This used to be a mostly local owned district, but bigger companies were slowly buying out the local businesses which, did sadden Alias though there was nothing he could do about it. They passed many chain restaurants, local restaurants, worn down buildings, closed stores, and plenty of street vendors. Alias silently reminisced the memories of late nights with some of his coworkers at these vendors after going to a bar.
Finally focusing on the task at hand, Nai scanned the stores for anything that caught his eye, he dragged Alias through the crowds of people and floating items, Alias ducked and said 'excuse me' over 100 times as he tried to not bump into anyone "Nai-Slow down!" Nai dragged Alias into many stores, trying to find what he wanted. Alias sighed and went along with Nai's antics, just following with a warry smile.
This must have been the 5th store they went into, Nai finally let go of Alias's poor hand. Alias rubbed his hand, shaking his head with a sigh, "Remember, don't get anything too expensive please..." he called after Nai, but it seemed Nai hadn't heard him. He looked around the store, it was on the smaller side, the check out was in the middle of the store, it was rather bare, but Alias didn't mind much, it seemed more of a minimalist approach he assumed. Stumbling across Nai he looked at the clothes in Nai's hands, he could guarantee it was way too much.
"Aliass! Look aren't these so pretty!" Nai beamed showing the shirts and pants he had picked out to Alias.
"We aren't getting a whole new wardrobe, only one outfit... Also check the prices. I don't want anything too expensive... Now put those back and be conscious of the fact we only have 80 dollars to spend..." Alias rubbed his temple in distress as he sighed.
Nai pouted "But...." Alias glared at Nai, crossing his arms. Nai paused before relenting "Fine!" groaning Nai put the clothes on a stand, definitely not where they actually went.
"Put them where you found them Nai. Please?" Alias sighed shaking his head softly.
"Pssh.... You said this was a Café date, right? Something, something books is all I remember-" Nai tilted his head, putting the clothes he grabbed back on the racks.
"It's not a Date! But yes, we are HANGING OUT at a café near here while we talk about books and stuff." Alias crossed his arms, huffing.
"Sure it is. Anyways-Leave it to me! I'll make you the perfect outfit!" Nai announced proudly, putting his hands on his hips.
