Larry was now free for the lesson and he was grading the history tests.
He rolled his eyes at the answer from a sophomore. The question was What caused Black death in The middle-age Europe? the pupil wrote: Witches. As always. Larry sighed and crossed out the answer.
"Um, excuse me.." Larry heard from the door and he raised his head. He looked at a man standing there. It was a tall dark-haired hunky guy. He smiled and said: "Sorry, I'm Benjamin Willbond. I am here for the job interview." Larry said: "Oh. My name is Rickard. I...I'll show you where the principal's office is." The guy smiled and they walked to the office. Larry left the office and Simon met him outside. He said: "Your boyfriend?" Larry rolled his eyes and said: "Actually, that is our new co-worker, hopefully." Simon had a grin growing on his face and said: "Hopefully? You like him." Larry said: "I just met him." And Simon giggled.
As they came back to the staffroom, they saw the new guy standing by the desk with a coffee in hand. His laptop was placed on Larry's desk and his books neatly stacked on it. Simon said: "Hey. I see you got the job." The guy looked at them, smiled and nodded. He said: "The...the principal told me to talk to you about the desks. I don't know where you lot sit." Simon said: "Well, you can sit next to Larry. This is his desk, so if you just move your stuff a few inches to the left..." with that, he grabbed the new guy's stuff and moved it.
The new guy immediately he rearranged his things so they were stacked perfectly. He said: "Thank you.", and walked around the desk to sit behind it.
Simon hit Larry's shoulder jokingly and Larry smirked. He sat next to the new guy, who just pushed a button and his laptop started running. Simon said: "So, what's your name?"
The new guy looked at him and said: "Oh. My name's Ben. Ben Willbond." "Simon." Simon said and Ben smiled. Larry said: "I'm Larry.", while he was redoing a presentation about ancient Egypt. Ben smiled to himself and took a sip of his coffee. He said: "Egypt, is it?" Larry looked at him and said: "Yeah. One of my favourite eras." Simon added: "Yeah. After Alexander the Great, James the first and Hadrian." Larry rolled his eyes and Ben smirked, scanning Larry with his eyes. He said: "And queen Anne?"
At that point, Larry knew that Ben got the joke. He looked at him and Simon said: "No. Not queen Anne. Why?" Larry looked at him and Simon said: "Oh! We talked about that, didn't we? Right. No. Not queen Anne. Larry isn't really..." Larry kicked him under the table and Simon said: "Oi! What did I do?" Larry gave him a look and he got quiet. He just murmured: "Grumpy pants.", making Ben chuckle and Larry blush at the last words, they said.
Ben said: "Well, Ours is not to judge.", and signed into the computer. He then said: "Is it possible that I get a lesson right away?" Simon said: "Well...we are short staffed, so..."
