Hannah made lunch the next day and called Chloe and Ben downstairs. Ben already made up with Chloe, making himself feel slightly better.
They sat down and Hannah said: “Just wait a few minutes.”
Ben looked at her in confusion and said: “What? Why?” Hannah said: “Just wait. Trust me.”
It was five minutes to one and the door bell rang. Hannah got up and was really happy when she saw Larry.
Ben sat by the table and heard: “Hello?”
His head shot up and he looked at Larry. Hannah said: “I invited Larry for lunch.” Receiving a smile from Ben. Larry sat next to Chloe and said: “Ben, I…I wanted to apologise. I overreacted. I didn’t mean to say those things I said. I know it must be hard for you to take care of two children and manage a love life.” Ben said: “I’m sorry for not telling you earlier.”
Chloe then said: “Are you our new mommy?” and Larry looked at Ben. Ben said: “No. This is Larry. My…boyfriend.” And Larry smiled and kissed him.
Chloe said: “Me too! Me too!” as she jumped off the chair and ran between the two men, receiving kiss from both of them, one on each cheek.
