chapter 4

Jace pov***

We all got in the car. I mind linked Caitlin. 'I can smell your nervousness from across the yard. Calm down you will blow our cover. When... if... they ask us to change say we don't feel good. That we just got over the flu.'

"Everyone I know that you know that me and caitlin just got over the flu. But I don't want to get everyone sick...." I said.

They nodded. We pulled into their driveway. They had the biggest mansion in the hills. It was stunning. They walked out to greet us.

I smelt rasberrys and vinella. Josh is near me. How did I know that it is josh? I brushed the thought aside.

We met a couple of people. I payed them no attention, other than saying hi. The guys tried to hide their boners.

Seriously. Ugh.

Even though I'm gay I still don't like having guys get turned on like a lightbulb. It gets old after a while.

As we finish talking to the smiths, the alpha walks to the top of the stairs and says" dinner is done if you would all please go to the dinning hall.

When we all sit, the alpha stands. "We are gathered here to day to meet the Mcays." My head snaps up at the mention of my last name." If you will please stand Mcays." He says voice booming.

My family stands. I feel awkward. Josh is staring at me. I stare back. Me and my family sit.

He introduced us to everyone. We said hi. The maids bring in the dinner. There is about 30 people eating. We eat. The alphas and the rest of the men talk about the territorys. Josh stares at me. I stare at him.

Then it happens, the alpha speaks the words I was hoping wouldn't come out of his mouth."oh we would all very much enjoy it if you all would shift.". My sister said," in here? In front of everyone? I'm a little self-conscious......" she blushed .I almost died. She was good at this.

" oh? Well you guys can go in a room I guess. We will get you all different rooms." He looks at one of the maids. She ushers us to the rooms.

Behind her I see josh standing watching me go into the room. One for each of us. Oh god. I strip, and change. I walk out. Josh is there hiding behind a fake tree. He looks shocked.

Shit he knows that I am the white wolf.

Everyone is ready. We walk back in the room. Me and my sister last. I hear the gasps.

"It's true!"

"She is the white wolf!"

"Beautiful!"

"I want her!" At that my head snaps at a big guy. He had broad shoulders, blonde hair, and black eyes. All black. Weird.

My wolf took over.
My wolf shook her head no. I was glad she did.

"Well,well,well do you have someone else in mind? " the alpha said. I nodded. My family looked at me in surprise.

"You do! Who is it!?!?"he said, eagerly jumping up and down.

I just sat there. I would not say who it was. Not on my life. He didn't like me for me.
The alpha stoped when he realized that I wouldn't say. He frowned." Well when you want to say I'm sure that he would like you go."

He says."you all may go back and change." He said with a frown. He sat back down and I walked to my room. Once I changed and walked out I saw my mom give me the 'we are so going to talk later' look. I shrugged we went and sat down.

The rest of the night flew by.

When we got home

I sat in my room thinking about everything.

Josh knows. Oh god......he knows......

My mom and dad walked in. Oh god... Every since I nodded yes to *if I had someone else in mind* they have been asking every second I always just look at them with the*really* look.

"Why won't you say anything and why won't you tell us who it is." My mom pleaded.

"Look, it doesn't matter who it is they don't like me. And even if they did then they would only like me for my wolf." I say.

And walk out of my room. I bump into my brother. "I'm going for a run. Bye" I say over my shoulder . Then run out the door. I don't bother with my clothes. I let my wolf in control as soon as I get out the door.

Our back yard has a forest so I'm good. My wolf rips out of my clothes. Letting your wolf in control is like watching from the sidelines. You can stop them though.

We fun through the forest. I think about how josh will never like me for me, and I howl. It's a long good howl. I sat on a rock over the lake. Howling. I heard a twig snap. A rouge. Rouges try and claim a mate because then they can join their pack. The fact that I'm a white wolf makes it even better for him.

I change so I can talk. He does to.

"What do you want?" I say to him. "I want the white wolf.....wait you are a guy?! Oh it gets better and better. Now come here sweet cheeks." He said and walked over to me.

I backed up. I know as white wolf I should be able to have powers, but I didn't know how to use them.

He had to have sex and then bite me if he wanted to claim me. And I didn't want to get raped.

I turned and ran. I tried to become a wolf but my wolf was to tired.

I can tell he changed though. He catches up with me in seconds. Pushed me against a tree.and flipped me over. He changed and held me down. We was already naked. He pushed my hands above my head. He kissed  me. I spit in his face. He groweled.....wait that wasn't him....I look over and see joshes wolf.

He growled again. This guy groweled back. He changed in to wolf. Tearing a hole in my leg. I sit back and watch them fight a second. I rest while I wait.

Then I see the guy hit josh. I growled . He tries to bite josh. I get angry. My wolf jumps out. I push him off of josh. Then I see sparks come from my paws and he falls over. Knocked out.

I walk over to josh.'hi Caitlin. Are you OK? Can you do me a favor? Tell jace I helped you. And to meet me in the boys locker room after 3rd period? Thanks' he ran off.

So he didn't know its me. Ok. And why did he want me to tell myself he did it. And now i m curious about why he wants me.......huh.

I run home. We had just left the guy there. He will heal. Oh ya I did it go him. I guess geting mad triggers it. Huh.

When I go home i skip supper. I'm to fat to eat. I cut two more slips. Then I go to bad. I dreamed that josh was striping and pole dancing in tights. Mmmm. Then I dream of what he could possibly want tomorrow.
