chapter 7

Jace pov****

I groaned as I woke up. It was a dream? That is one fucked up dream.

I don't want to wake up.

"Josh get up" my mom said from the door.

"Five more minutes...." I mumbled. She rolled her eyes and walked away.

'Get up.' My wolf told me.

'Why?' I ask her. 'You are meeting with our soon to be mate. I want him to like you and not hate you when your birthday comes next week. You need to take a shower and get ready.' She told me.

My phone rang. A bright flash and a name popped up.

CALLIE

"Hello? Why are you calling me this early?" I ask her.

"OK so I told my cousin about you and josh how you aren't dating, and how he said he likes you but he don't know that you like him, and she told me that we should make him jealous. So I am coming over in about 20 minutes. She is going to hit on you."

"Um... okay?"

"Good we are on our way. Oh and her name is Jay McDee. Bye!"

"Okay I gue-"

She hung up on me. Well then. I got up and got my clothes. On the way to the bathroom I saw alpha. He always looked good.

His brown hair that has a crew cut was growing out. His blue eyes shined with happiness. What's all that about?

I bowed my head in respect. He looked at me. "Hello, jace how are you this morning?" He asked me.

I could sense something was off because of the way he looked at me. "I....um.....good? I guess." I answered. He was smile widened.

"Ok good. Well you should get ready. Josh will be here in about 20 minutes." He said. I nodded and walked to the bathroom.

After I was done with my shower I put on some Cologne called old spice. I brushed my hair. And walked out.

As I walked out I bumped into josh. I almost fell Back in surprise, but his hand grabbed the small of my back.

I blushed. His face was so close to mine. He smelled like aftershave and mint. I longed to pull my face up that one inch and make the kiss. I was about to when I heard someone clear their throat.

I jumped back and blushed even more. The alpha was looking at me and josh. "Its not....I.....it.....I better go get my bag." I stutter and walk to my room.

The alpha was smirking at josh. Did he know that I liked josh? Or is it just me being paranoid?

I must have just been paranoid because he couldn't have known.

When I got in my room I shut the door.

I get up after a couple of seconds and got my bag. I jumped over the railing for the stairs.

"Jace! How many times do I have to tell you not to jump over the railing?!?" My mom yelled with her hands on her hips. I smirk and peck her on the cheek.

"Sorry mum." I say. I hear my phone ringing and take it out of my pocket. It's callie. My friend I talked to.

"We will be there in about 5 minutes."

"Um...ok...bye."

This time I hang up on her. I don't want to do this to him. Oh well when Callie says something she does it.
I grab my bag and stuff some stuff in it.
