I huff as I throw away all of the blades. I sniff the air and I smell salt.
Tears.
My wolf whines and claws at me. He is getting restless.
I walk out of the room. I see tear drops on the carpet.
My brow furrows.I sniff the air. It takes me a second but I catch his scent. I follow it. I keep walking.
Then I reach a water fountain. I see a small body near the edge. It looks so small that can't be....is it him?
I catch a whiff of the scent. Without a moment's hesitation I jump.
My wolf is begging to be let out. But I can't I am in water. He will drown.
When my body connects with the water, I quickly propel myself toward my mate.
I get him and throw him on land. I get out and check his pulse. It takes a lot to kill a werewolf. I quickly put my hands over his chest and do CPR.
He sputters and coughs.
I pat his back. When he looks at me he adverts his gaze.
"I am sorry that you got stuck with me for a mate. If I die you will move on." He says sadly.
I shakes my head and grab him in a hug. I twirl his hair in my hands and hold his other hand. His hands are freezing cold, no doubt from the water.
"No, I don't want anyone other than you. I need you I crave you. I always want you beside me. I always want to follow you so that I can protect you. I love you. Yoh are my world." I tell him. Our tears fall.
"I love you to." He says. I smile and kiss him softly.
