After we get back to the dorm I go into my room and flop onto my bed.

"did today actually happen? or did I dream it?" I thought looking at the little stuffed bear Lumine won for me

"I guess it actually did," I thought "and I told her my real name. no one knows my real name. it's not even on my school file. Does that mean I trust her or was it in the heat of the moment?" I get up and walk into the kitchen where Aether is washing dishes. without looking up he says "How was your day with Lumine?" he says in a harsh tone

"it was fun," I said opening the fridge

"Did anything happen between you two?" he said squeezing the sponge so hard that his knuckles were white

"shit, he's mad play it cool," I thought

"nope. nothing" I said "What happened to play it cool?!" I thought

He stayed silent. I took this as a sign to leave. I grabbed my snack and left. I walked to my room and sat on my bed when my phone rang. I grabbed it and answered without looking at the name.

"Hello?" I said

"childe. It's Signora, meet me in the warehouse on the corner of Dandelion Ave in Mondstat. Be there by midnight" She hung up

"I wonder what happened? we would usually talk before or after Fatui meetings" I thought as I went to grab my shoes and coat. I walked out the door ignoring kaeya on the way out. I get in my car and drive to Mondstat thinking "Does Signora know about Lumine? Last time a harbinger had a relationship the significant other got tortured and killed because apparently it "distracts" the harbinger from the Fatui"

After half an hour of driving, I make it to the warehouse and walk inside. Signora is leaning against a stack of boxes.

"it's 12:08 your late," she says

"Sorry, I don't know how you expect me to drive from khaenri'ah to Mondstat in 20 minutes. i thought you were smart signora" I said

"Watch your tone. I'm your superior" she said walking up to me "Well now onto the topic at hand. You know the rules. no relationships fatui harbingers must demote their life to the fatui. its either you dump her or I tell the tsaritsa" she said

"why? didn't you have a boyfriend at some point? what happened to him?" I asked in a mocking tone

"Watch your tongue," she said slapping me in the face so hard that I saw stars "I am your superior you follow my orders and respect me!" she yelled. She walks to the door before she leaves she turns her head and says "Make your choice. the fatui or romance."

I collapse to the ground and my vision is blurry with tears. I touch my face and my fingers are covered in ash. She probably used her vision. She's gonna tell the tsaritia and lumines gonna die. I sit up and yell into the silence.
