Jane Reynolds was not having a good year. She's been legally blind her whole life, but finally lost the last shred of it this year at age 27. Which should have been the main stressor of her shit year, but she also had a job transfer, a major breakup, and a continuing string of bad luck.
Her sister who worked as a nurse in L.A offered Jane her spare room while she got settled in the city and while she got over her ex, Eric. With an almost comical series of unfortunate events, however, she befriends a group of first responders, and one of them may even make her shit year a little bit better.
