The next day, Julian turned in the paper, and the teacher started teaching him the basics of photography, but because he thought it was 'stupid' he slept through every day in that class for about 2 weeks. The teacher eventually got fed up with this behavior and decided to talk to Julian. "Julian, I do not condone this behavior, I have seen your grades, and I know you can do much better than this. How can I help you be more productive in this class?" the teacher asked, a bit annoyed, but still showing care for Julian. "This class is stupid, its literally just taking photos." Julian replied, after rolling his eyes. "It's not just taking photos, there's lots of work and passion that goes into it." The teacher replied with a smile. Julian just scoffed and put his head down. "We could call your mom or dad and talk to them about you being more productive in class." The teacher said, getting more fed up with Julian's behavior. Julian did not respond and kept his head down. "Julian do not ignore me," the teacher said to Julian, lightly shaking his shoulder. "You can't call my mom or dad." Julian said, frustrated. "Why not?" the teacher asked. "Because they're both gone, okay?!" Julian snapped at the teacher. The teacher was speechless, she had no words at that moment. "I am so sorry, I didn't know..." The teacher said, as she regretted even mentioning Julians parents now. "Whatever. No one ever does." Julian replied, finally lifting his head off the desk. His bright blue eyes pierced straight through the teacher, leaving her even more speechless. "Look, I'm going to be starting a photography club after school, why don't you join us today?" The teacher asked, trying to change the subject. Julian shrugged and called his uncle to tell him he would be staying after school.
