As he opened the box, the smell of old film and dust emanated from within the box. Julian scrunched his nose and squinted his eyes, fanning the dust particles away with his hand. He inspected what was in the box, spotting an old polaroid camera. "Woah... this thing is old looking!" Julian exclaimed, accidentally pressing the shutter button, and flashing himself in the face. He set the polaroid camera down and continued scavenging through the box. He found pictures from his parents' wedding, some of them being of his parents, and others being of Julian as a child. "Damn... I miss them so much..." He sniffled, but this new discovery gave him some ideas.
Julian had been attending the club for months now, and it was time for everyone to take photos to submit to the scholarship program. They could win up to $5,000 dollars per year towards a college of their choice. Julian had been taking photos very often before he finally chose one to submit. It was a Valentine's Day themed photoshoot because it was close to Valentine's Day. It consisted of candy hearts, on a pastel pink backdrop.
