Claire POV

Me and my mother walked into the studio, greeted by Abby, and made it to the den. I got changed into my dancewear and stretched. Waiting for the other girls to show up. Cameron and Cassandra followed after me. Stretching by themselves. My mother sometimes helps Cassandra.

"What do you think about the duet with Kendall?"I asked Cameron

He glanced over at me quickly. "It was okay, I wish it was placed first."

I shrugged, "Who better, Maddie or Kendall."

"Claire!"My mother yelled

Cameron glared at me before going back to stretching. I looked at my mother in shock.

"What, just asked a question," I said

"Those are questions to be asked at the house, not in the dance studio." my mother told me with a stern tone. I also saw her glancing at the cameras in the room.

"But Cameron can be kissing in the studio," I mumbled under my breath.

"What was that?"My mother asked

"Nothing," I said

Soon the other girls came in the den, and so did the mothers. We talked and had fun. Then it was time for the pyramid.

"Come on girls, let's go!"Abby yelled

So we all piled into the studio.

"Where is Paige and Kelly?"Abby asked

"They are at the doctor's, "Brooke answered

"Today?"Abby asked confused

"I think it's more serious than just a toe," Christi added

"Her foot is swollen," Melissa said

"Oh my goodness."Abby said seemingly frustrated," I told her not to fool around. Kids, do you understand that your body is your instrument? That you need to take care of it. And I said girls don't fool around there's cement underneath this carpeting. I remember vividly saying that."

We all nodded to Miss Abby.

"Where's Jill?"Christi asked

"Jill is not an official member of this competition team. She would like to think so, but I might forgive people but I don't forget. Plus that duet with Cameron was not good enough for me."Abby said

The silence was awkward. I looked over to Cameron, but his focus was straight ahead.

Claire interview:

"I think Cameron is upset that Kendall didn't do the best in their duet because he was secretly hoping she would be a part of the team again now that he's been coming. I love Kendall, and I want her back too. But if he looks to his right there's a girl named Maddie who loves to dance with him. And they are excellent dancers together."

"So congratulations are in order. We had an amazing trip to Lancaster. I entered five solos in the competition, and I had five girls in the top ten. This week we are going to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania."Abby said

"Yes," Melissa said

"Let's start with the pyramid. On the bottom, we have Paige. Paige had an outstanding performance, she was sixth overall high score. And then, accidents happen. She might be out a week or maybe she'll be able to dance today. Moving on. Mackenzie. Mackenzie, if you're at a competition you're there to learn. And next, I have Chloe. Chloe, you did a great job. you didn't have a solo or a duet so it's a little difficult to judge. But you did a great job in the group dance. And next, Brooke. Brooke, you're up there because of your maturity during rehearsal all week. And next is Nia. Nia you went out there and you sold that number. Then I have Claire. You had a solo. Starting pose, great. You are ending great. But you were shaky on some parts. I get the music was hard, but you have to work through it. And you got second. You're starting to become a second-place dancer. I need that win. Cassandra, she's undefeated. And she's three years younger than you."Abby said
