"Rosie?!" I spat venom through the phone. "Hello to you too dear," she laughed. "Why in the, pardon my language, fuck are you making me stay here for longer?!" I asked, fuming.
She laughed at my anger, only adding more fuel to it. "Because I want you and Al to get along, he told me that it's not going as well as it could be," Rosie said. That fucking bastard!
"I think this is the best it could ever be," I threw my head back, rolling my eyes as I scoffed. "It would be nice for-", "I tried, didn't work out. Oh well, too bad. I'm coming home," I cut her off.
"Now, now Y/n, calm down. Just try, it won't be all that bad," Rosie tried to calm me. "He is an insufferable asshole," I muttered. "Y/n!" Rosie sounded angry by my comment. I huffed loudly, this was hell.
"I'm coming home, with or without him," I said, meaning it too. "That is not a wise idea," Rosie sighed. "See you soon," I said chipperly before slamming the phone back against the hook, not letting Rosie get another word in before I ended the call.
I stormed out of Charlie's office, heading straight for the front door. "Y/n my dear, what just do you think you're doing?" Alastor asked from behind me. I stopped in my tracks, the door a foot away.
I spun around, seeing Alastor at the other side of the lobby. "Fuck you Alastor," I muttered before turning back around. In the blink of an eye he was in front of me, causing me to jump back a bit.
"I beg your pardon?" He glared at me in a menacing way. "I said, fuck you Alastor," I muttered again. "I'm going home, so be a dear and move out of the way," I smiled mockingly.
"Watch your tone," his voice went dark, his eyes a glowing red now. "No," I said quietly, glaring daggers at him. I wasn't going to let him boss me around. His smile twitched before he suddenly grabbed my wrist and a black cloud over took us.
My back was suddenly against a wall, we were in a different room, a different place. Windows surrounded us, a circular desk behind Alastor as he stood in front of me, his hand still tightly holding my wrist.
"Where did you take me?!" I spat out angrily. "My radio shack, but that's not the concern here," he said, his antlers starting to grow larger as his eyes went black. "I do not want to be your friend, I don't want to stay here with you, I'm going home," I said sternly as I yanked my hand away from his grasp.
"You don't scare me Alastor," I whispered to him as I leaned closer. "And you tried to make it sound like I didn't care about Rosie's wants," he laughed. "You know what, I don't care anymore how you do or don't feel about her. She's obviously friends with you for her own reason, one in which I fail to see, but at the end of the day it's her choice," I forced a fake smile at him.
"Do you know what I am capable of?" His voice was full of static. "Not fully, but I don't really care," I whispered. Suddenly his hand clasped around my throat, dragging me up the wall until my feet were off the ground and our eyes were at the same level.
My eyes went wide as his grip tightened, the air growing suddenly thick as I could barely inhale a breath. "Don't make me show you," he breathed out. "I told you to watch your attitude, right?" He tilted his head to the side slowly.
"It's not attitude Alastor," I choked out. His grip tightened as I spoke, not liking my answer. "Try again," he husked. I slowly reached my hand up to his wrist, smirking at him before I channeled energy I hadn't in a long time.
He flinched back, dropping me to the ground as he grabbed his wrist, staring at it in shock. The purple venom absorbed into his skin where I had grabbed. "I don't have attitude," I said coldly as I stood to my feet.
