"A date?" Vaggie stared at me as I stood in her and Charlie's room. "Oh my stars this is so exciting!" Charlie sat in the bed with fists pressed to her chest, looking like she was about to explode with excitement.

"This is not exciting, it's weird... very weird and not good, no good at all," I stared at the floor, gripping at my hair. "Yeah, why in hell would he ask you on a date?" Vaggie crossed her arms and glared at me.

I knew I couldn't tell them the full reason. I couldn't tell them that I sold my soul to Alastor, or about Vox, or any of it besides what they already knew. "I think it's to make Rosie think we're getting along," I lied, feeling guilty.

"Oh it'll be fun," Charlie came over to me and grabbed my hands. "I know Al may seem like a bad guy at first, but he's been really helpful to everyone here... maybe just try and get to know him," Charlie wrapped her arm around Vaggie, smiling warmly at her before looking over to me.

Seems to be what everyone says. He's a sweetheart. I guess he was kind of helping me though... even in the end it benefited him more. He owned my soul. He could really get anything he wanted now from me.

"I guess," I mumbled, forcing a weak smile out. "Come, let's get you ready," Charlie grabbed my hand as she brought me into her and Vaggie's closet, which was huge. "Vaggie is better with this stuff than me," Charlie scratched the back of neck awkwardly. "I got it from here hon," Vaggie smiled at Charlie as she walked out of the closet. "Why didn't you say no if you didn't want to go?" Vaggie asked as she started digging through the closet.

"I um, I don't know... he can be frightening sometimes," I came up with something on the spot. Vaggie laughed at me as she pulled out a dress and held it up to me before putting it back. "That doesn't seem to have stopped you before," she chuckled.

"Well too, everyone has been telling he's a good guy, he's a sweetheart, and basically to give him a chance... seemed like a good opportunity," I fiddled with my fingers. "He can be nice sometimes I guess, but he can also be an asshole," Vaggie said as she turned around, holding up another dress beside me before smiling and handing it to me.

I grabbed the dress and went behind the divider wall and started to strip from my other clothes. "He's just such an evil prick at times and I'm starting to think I'm the only one who can see it," I huffed as I pulled the dress over my head.

"That's how I felt when he first got here," Vaggie said through the other side of the curtain. "Do you still feel that way?" I asked as I flattened down the dress and stepped out. "Sometimes," Vaggie hummed as she looked me up and down.

She grabbed my shoulder and turned me to the full body length mirror, making me look at my own reflection. "He can be helpful though, especially for Charlie," she said as I looked in the mirror.

I had on a tight black dress that ended mid thigh. It had puffy short sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. I hadn't ever worn something quite like it before. I was never one for showing off my curves, it gathered unwanted eyes on me, and being in Cannibal town, the fashion itself was much more modest.

I felt good in it though. It was different and new, but gave me this feeling of self confidence. "You like it?" Vaggie smiled beside me. "Yeah," I breathed out as I stared myself up and down. "Here," Vaggie said as she wandered off and went and grabbed something.

She walked over and wrapped a fluffy purple shawl around my shoulders and handed me a pair of black gloves. The purple matched my hair and eyes exactly. I pulled the gloves up my hands before l looked back in the mirror. "Woah," I mumbled. I looked like a mob wife.

"Thank you Vag," I looked over at her with a wide smile. "You're welcome," she laughed lightly at my reaction. "Let me do your hair, then we're done," she smiled. I nodded as I followed her to the vanity and sat down in the plush stool.
