"So you're a little runner, fawn," Alastor purred. I stared at him blankly, not appreciating this new nickname. "Maybe," I muttered under my breath. "I'm making up for my sins though," I added.

"By lying to Rosie for years dear?" Alastor called me out. "I have my reason Alastor," I started to get annoyed. "With whom did you tell? Why are you running from them?" Alastor asked.

My heart skipped a beat even thinking about him. The man who locked me in a warehouse for a year and took the poison I could produce like I was a never ending supplier. Manipulated me into thinking it was for the best. I was used, I was chained.

I was smart enough to not sell my soul, instead just have a year agreement in which he owed me. I ran the day the agreement ended, finding my way to a building before I broke down in horror. The day Rosie ran into me, made all the pain go away.

"Vox," I mumbled quietly, barely audible. Alastor's eyes went wide before his smile twitched. "Vox?" His voice strained out, his eyes quickly turning to black and red as his antlers grew. "You told Vox?!" He pinned me against the wall, anger laced in his voice.

"Y-yes," I mumbled, very confused. "Do you know who Vox is?" He laughed a bit maniacally. "I know he's an overlord... I didn't know it when I met him though," I stared at him, fear in my eyes.

"He is someone I want to kill over and over again for the rest of eternity," Alastor's voice went dark. "I want that too," I said coldly, hating the man's guts more than anything. Alastor looked a bit taken back, backing up a bit as he shifted to his normal form once more, staring me up and down.

"Why would you tell him that?" Alastor asked in disgust, yet a smile still on his face. "It was when I first got to Hell. He asked if I was lost, then why I was here... I didn't understand the whole demons are twisted and manipulative thing yet and I told him," I sighed, staring down at the floor.

"How long have you actually been in Hell for?" Alastor asked, I could sense his judgment in me. "7 years," I said blankly with no emotions. "So for 1 year you were with Vox?" Alastor asked.

"More like locked in a warehouse and he'd come and take my poison," I scoffed, shaking my head at the memory. "Does he have your soul?" Alastor asked, his voice straining a bit. "No... But there was a year long agreement," I sighed.

"You should've told Rosie this," he said under his breath as he began to pace a bit. "Why would I tell Rosie when I got fucked over the last time I told someone?!" I threw my hands down. "After you realized Rosie wasn't going to use you," he stared daggers at me. "Oh like you're one to talk, Alastor," I scoffed.

"We're overlords, of course we used demons and took their souls," he walked back over to me. "I was meaning in that manner Alastor, you use people even if you don't have their souls or even want their souls," I stared at him.

Alastor chuckled a bit before he started straight up laughing. "Oh darling, at least I'm not the one in a predicament like you are," he laughed at me mockingly. "I was put through hell by that bastard, you'd think I'd even open up the possibility for it to happen again?!" I stared daggers at him.

"I don't believe your agreement with Vox is actually over," Alastor sneered. "What?" I raised an eyebrow at him. "Vox isn't a man that would like something like that, leave in just a year... Did you read the full contract?" He tilted his head to the side.

"Yes I did actually, and it said nothing of the sort," I said firmly. "Then that means he will be watching for you, waiting for you to return so he can scoop you back up," Alastor took a step forward as he spoke.

My face dropped. That made sense. And I walked through the city, I wouldn't be surprised if he was already trying to find my whereabouts if that was the case. Fucking fuck.
