I was a wreck. An absolute emotional wreck. Rosie held me on the couch at the hotel as we waited for Alastor to come back. Everyone else around, watching my nice little METAL BREAKDOWN. "Shh, it's okay toots," Angel held my hand, rubbing his thumb across my knuckles.

"I-i... I thought you hated me Rosie," I finally managed to speak after about 5 minutes of incoherent mumbles coming out of my mouth. "Why would you think that, we were all so worried, I thought Alastor had kidnapped you," Rosie pulled back a bit, looking down at me.

"N-no, he said you were disgusted by us," I mumbled as I looked at Rosie, my lip quivering a bit. Her eyes went wide before she sighed and shook her head. "With him I was... I still am a bit but not with you," she sighed.

"I think I... I love him," I mumbled very quietly. "Awwwww!" Charlie tilted her head in awe as I looked over at her, a small chuckling leaving my mouth. "I'm sorry Rosie, I didn't mean for this to happen," I looked back at Rosie, pressing my lips together.

"We can't help who we fall for," she whispered, a small smile on her face. "Although I wish it wasn't, I'd be a cruel woman to stop love," Rosie continued. "This took an interesting turn I didn't expect," Vaggie laughed a little.

"If he hurts you though I will end him," Rosie's voice went dark, spooking everyone for a moment. "I don't understand why he took your soul though, why didn't you tell me?" Rosie raised an eyebrow. "He didn't want me to," I mumbled, looking over at the door, wondering how long it would take for Alastor to get back.

"He didn't want me to, but he said it would help so Vox couldn't try and get it," I looked back at her. She sighed, shaking her head softly, "All that matters right now is you're safe." She brought me back into an embrace.

All of us caught up, I told them about how nice Envy was, the trees, the cabin, how Alastor tried to teach me how to fish and I threw the rod in the water by accident. It was nice. Having friends, having a family. My mind stayed on Alastor though mostly. He was nowhere to be seen yet.

As ten minutes turned into half an hour, my stomach started to twist. I was fucking terrifed. Where was he? "Why isn't he back here yet?" I muttered as I looked at the door. "He'll be back," Husk smiled at me.

I looked up at Husk who was staring at Angel with a small smile. I smirked at the two, looking between them. Angel gave me the side eye, causing me just to laugh. Suddenly the front door swung open, Alastor walking in humming a tune like it was just like any other day.

I shot up from the couch staring at Alastor as his eyes scanned the room before landing on mine. "Darling," he grinned, putting his arms out as his cane disappeared. I ran over to him, wrapping my arms around his slender frame. "I thought you fucking died," I muttered into his chest as he wrapped his arms around me, my hearting skipping a beat.

"Oh darling, how could I die at Vox's hands out of everyone," he chuckled as he pulled away, smiling down at me. "Did you kill him?" I asked the burning question. He shook his head no, catching me off guard.
"What'd you do?" I raised an eyebrow. "I put him in a position where he had no choice but accept my deal, or die. For his sake he chose the first option," he grinned sadistically at me. "What's the deal?" I asked curiously. "Simple enough, stop stalking us, or trying to steal you," he leaned down and patted the top of my head. Something told me there were other things involved but I knew better than to push on it.

Alastor looked over at the group, his eyes narrowing on Rosie. "Alastor," Rosie stood up as she stood up. "Rosie dear," Alastor responded back as she walked over to us. "I believe we need to have a chat," Rosie stared at Alastor, her words stern. "I reckon that would be necessary," Alastor hummed before looking at me.
