Riley was sitting in the living room of the Lockwood Mansion, holding her shot glass as a hybrid named Chris poured Vodka into it.

Hayley stood next to her, she looked at Tyler and smirked.

Tyler walked closer. "You're still going? I drank enough last night. And then I slept, which is what you guys should've done."

"We're just paying our respects to Dean," Chris told him.

"That's great, Chris, but could you pay them at a bar instead?" Tyler asked.

Riley drank her shot.

"Don't be mad," Hayley said, approaching Tyler. "We're celebrating our fallen hybrid friend."

Hayley put her shot glass to Tyler's mouth, making him drink. Tyler spilled a little, so she wiped his lip with her thumb before licking it.

Klaus walked in. "Well, don't let me interrupt."

Tyler turned around. "I didn't know you were here."

"Clearly," Klaus said, walking between Tyler and Hayley as he drank from a bottle of bourbon. "Mm. No, I just popped round to celebrate Dean's successful retrieval of the vampire hunter yet, when I arrived, I learned that not only was Dean unsuccessful but that Elena killed the hunter."

Riley stood. "Well, maybe if you had let Dean use force on Connor instead of sending him in on a suicide mission."

Klaus looked at her. "Maybe you should mind your business, wolf girl."

"What do you care if Connor's dead, anyway?" Tyler asked.

"I have my reasons," Klaus answered. "They have ceased to matter. Cheers."

Klaus drank from his bottle.

There was a knock on the door.

Tyler walked towards the front door, opening it.

Caroline walked in, carrying a box. "I brought your stuff. Old laptop, your jersey, the charm bracelet."

"Care, this isn't a good time," Tyler said.

"Just take it," Caroline told him, giving him the box.

Tyler put the box down.

Klaus put down his bottle, walking closer. "Caroline." Riley and Hayley watched as Caroline crossed her arms, sighing. "By the breakup drama unfolding before me, I assume you've meet Hayley." He nodded, looking at his hybrids. "All right. Come on, let's go. Let's leave them alone. Your talents are needed elsewhere."

"For what?" Tyler inquired.

"I think you've got more important things to deal with, mate," Klaus told him.

Klaus and his hybrids walked out, leaving.

Caroline closed the door behind them and slowly smiled.

Riley and Hayley smiled as well.

"Do you think he bought it?" Caroline asked.

"Hell, I bought it," Hayley answered.

Caroline chuckled. "Thanks for the heads-up that he was here, Riley."

Riley shrugged.

"You girls are good liars," Tyler told them.

Caroline and Tyler kissed.

Hayley watched them, chuckling, slightly as she looked down.

Riley looked at her sister and wrapped an arm around her shoulder, giving her a sympathetic smile because she knew Hayley had genuine feelings for Tyler.
