A peaceful Sunday dinner

b/n and y/n are sitting on the couch after lunch and they're both feeling a little lazy. They're looking over the list of things to do for the day and they realize they never decided on a plan for dinner.

b/n asks y/n, "I don't know about you but I want to cook a delicious meal tonight." y/n nods her head and says, "I'm feeling a little hungry myself. Could we cook something together? It's been so long since we've done that."

b/n and y/n get up from the couch and decide to go grocery shopping together for their dinner. y/n is feeling really playful and flirty and she wants to make the shopping trip enjoyable. They laugh and make funny jokes and tease each other as they start preparing their ingredients for dinner. b/n tries to act like he's trying to resist her charm but it's clear he's really enjoying her presence.

As they pack their groceries in the trunk and get in the car, b/n and y/n make random comments about the stuff they bought and start joking around. y/n laughs softly and says, "We got so many different things today"

"right I'm excited to see how the night will go like" b/n adds.

y/n and b/n arrive back at their home and they both carry a fair share of the groceries. As they enter the house, they start unpacking everything carefully and putting it away in the different drawers. b/n looks over at y/n with a playful expression and he says, "You know what I think would be great for dinner? Sushi!"

y/n laughs softly and says, "We don't actually have any fish here for sushi."

b/n laughs and says, "Oh, you're right. I guess I got too excited. Maybe we could use some of these ingredients to make Mexican food instead? Or we could go ahead and just make pasta, like we planned earlier."

y/n sighs and stares at him for a few seconds, then she gets an idea and says, "You know what? Let's split up the tasks. I'll go ahead and make the meat while you finish preparing the pasta."

b/n thinks "but I wanna make the steak, you know I'm better at grilling it"

y/n: "Okay listen up, I'm gonna be in charge of pastas, salads and other side dishes. You know, all the easy stuff."

b/n: "Easy? Pasta is not easy! If you don't cook it properly then it's not good at all."

y/n: "Alright Mr. Expert, then you can cook the main dish. I bet you can't even make a good steak."

b/n: "Watch me. I'm gonna make the best steak you've ever eaten."

"Alright, let's see what you got. Make me a delicious pasta dish. I'll judge how good it is." b/n added.

"You'll judge it? You know, you don't really seem like the expert on cooking yourself." y/n said.

"Hmm. Maybe you're right. How about a bet? If your pasta comes out tasting delicious, then I'll have to give it a 10 out of 10. But, if not, then I get to give you a big kiss. same goes to you" b/n smirked.

y/n froze for a second before nodding her slowly in frustration followed by confidence.

b/n: "Okay, then that's our bet."

y/n laughs and says "I'm gonna put so much love and care into this pasta. You're going to love it.". b/n smiles confidently and says, "If that's the case, then I'm gonna make the most delicious steak of your life. You better prepare yourself because I'm not afraid to put in hours in the kitchen for this."
