Ivy's POV
I wake up to a wet feeling on my chest. I look down, seeing a sleeping Owen, his body completely covering mine as his face is smushed against my chest. His mouth is open slightly, with a thin layer of drool falling between my breasts.
"Gross!" I push Owen off, using the duvet to wipe away what he left behind. Owen rolls over and falls off the bed with a thud. Groaning, his head shooting up and rapidly assessing the room in search of his attacker.
I kneel over the edge of the bed, holding a hand to my mouth to try and contain my giggles, but when Owen turns his head to me, his heavy lids meeting mine with his hair sticking up in all directions, I can't control my laughter anymore.
"Oh, you think it's funny?"
Owen pounces on the bed making me squeal as I attempt to crawl away but he grabs my ankle and pulls me to him, his hands squeezing my sides and tickling me.
"I'm sorry!" I try to squirm out of his grasp but Owen holds on tight, tickling every inch of my skin. Eventually, he stops, both of us out of breath, our chests heaving to take in more air. He leans down and gives me a slow, gentle kiss.
"Good morning gorgeous."
"Good morning." A small blush makes its way to my cheeks as Owen stares at me and I hide my face in his neck, breathing in his scent. He chuckles, rolling off of me to stand up and holding out his hand.
"I need some breakfast, I'm starving." I take his hand, letting him drag me off the bed. He hands me a t-shirt to slip on before we leave the room and as it falls over me I'm immediately surrounded by the smell of him. I have to resist the urge to lift the collar to my nose and sniff as he leads me back to the kitchen where Leo cooked us dinner the night before, sitting me down on a stool.
"What would you like madam?"
"Do you have porridge?"
Owen scrunches up his nose. "Porridge? That's boring. What do you really want for breakfast?"
I pout "I always have porridge for breakfast."
"Not today, pick again."
"Fine. Uh...do you have croissants?"
"Coming right up!"
Owen and I make light conversation as he bakes the croissants and gathers some fruit to go with it, popping a few slices into my mouth every so often. As Owen places the food in front of me, I glance at the doorway, wondering where Leo might be.
"He's normally up early working," Owen says, reading my mind. "He's probably already eaten but now that you're awake, I'm sure he'll come find you once he's free."
"And what about you? Aren't you supposed to be off doing important things too?"
Owen grins, a streak of jam smeared on his cheek.
"Who would keep you company if I was working gorgeous? I'll have to leave a little later, but for now I thought I'd show you more of the place since we got a little distracted yesterday."
"Really?" I sit up straighter, smiling. "That would be fun! Where are we going first?"
"How about I show you where we train?"
—----
After breakfast, Owen found me some sports clothes to wear so I didn't spend the whole day walking around in his shirt. If we weren't going to be around other people I would have happily kept it on. Owen also changed into grey joggers and a tight black T-shirt that clung to him and I kept sneaking glances when he wasn't looking.
