Melvin's day continued its descent into the realms of the absurd as he trudged through the halls of East Side High, his rolling backpack behind him, and his head held high with unwavering determination. Today was another chance for him to prove himself, not just as a student but as the hero of his own story.

As he entered his classroom, Melvin couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement "I must dattebayo!" Melvin shouts, not knowing one thing about how Japanese phrases work. As the test papers were handed out, Melvin's mind whirled with anticipation. "This is it, the ultimate trial of knowledge and wit," he thought to himself, his inner monologue taking on the tone of a seasoned anime protagonist.

However, his self-narration did not go unnoticed by his classmates, who exchanged amused glances and stifled giggles at his theatrics. The teacher, an pale, blonde, no-nonsense, self-centered, young-adult, shot Melvin a warning look and very kindly mouthed the words "shut yo dusty, crusty, musty head up" as she passed by his desk.

Undeterred by the stifled laughter and the teacher's admonishments, Melvin pressed on, his inner monologue growing louder with each passing minute. "I must focus my energy and channel my inner hero, despite how much of a Baka teacher-San is!" he whispered to himself, oblivious to the amused glances of those around him.

Finally, the test came to an end, and Melvin felt a surge of pride as he confidently handed in his paper. However, his true trial awaited him outside the classroom.

As he packed up his belongings and made his way out of the classroom, Melvin was approached by two of his classmates, Kenny and Jake. Kenny, with his ripped "gangsta jeans", sagging comically low, a zip up hoodie with a Compression shirt under, and fresh basketball shoes. And Kenny, with his sporty-shorts, light blue hoodie, crew socks, slides, and his blonde "fluffy hair" that looks like an umbrella at this point. flashed Melvin a grin that was more mocking than friendly.

"Hey there, Melvin, show us your coolest anime move!" Kenny exclaimed, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

"Yeah, pretend your waifu is watching!" Jake added, his laughter echoing through the hallway.

In his naivety, Melvin thought they were genuinely interested in his anime-inspired antics. With a bright smile, he obliged, performing an exaggerated high kick and launching into a self-narrated monologue about the power of friendship and determination.

However, instead of admiration, his actions were met with raucous laughter from Kenny and Jake. "Man, that's really cool! you got some skills," Kenny mocked, barely able to contain his laughter.

"Yeah, do it again, Melvin! That was hilarious!" Jake chimed in, his amusement evident in every word.

"They're laughing, all of them. Because of me, I made them laugh, them smile. It was me! They must find me hilarious, how awesome!" Melvin thought to himself. "Aha, when we meet again!" Melvin said, scratching the back of his head before he left the scene.
