[Team Rocket Garrison, Eastern Jubilife...]
"Guys, guys! You all aren't goin' to believe this..." The garrison was packed with tens of grunts, all busy with their own activities, some playing cards, others drinking, watching television. It was a break night and not much was going on, they weren't needed outside of their usual routine patrols. "What are you shouting about!" Someone called back. He dropped his friend onto a small seat before standing before the crowded room. "An Executive's showed up, but he's like super chill!"
The atmosphere in the room changed in an instant. An Executive was here, right now? "What are you blabberin' on about? No Executive's meant to be showin' up here for another month at least! Jury and Executioner are both workin' in East Sinnoh, and Judge has gone to meet with the big Boss in Kanto!" All eyes were on him, scrutinising his appearance. His breath stank of alcohol and his face was bright red, stumbling over his words, unable to stay still for long.. "You idiot, you're probably hallucinatin!" Another person shouted.
"No, no, guys, I'm being serious, a REAL Executive showed up, trust me! --" He tried to convince them once more, his voice growing louder and louder...
"Hey! What's with all the ruckus? People are trying to sleep!" A heavy voice shouted from the back of the room. They all turned to face the man they knew so well, the strongest Team Rocket member stationed in Jubilife, and their commander. There were a few cheerful shouts, a group raised celebratory glasses in honour, he was a personable guy. "Tyson, sir! This guys sayin' an Executive's shown up out of nowhere, could you believe it?" And a few people laughed, but Tyson didn't laugh, rather, his face remained hard, stern and unchanging.
"Who's saying that?" Tyson asked, slowly moving over towards them. "S-Sir, it's true, you've gotta' believe me!" The tipsy grunt shouted, however, he quickly shut up as the big man loomed over him, the commander's much larger shadow engulfing his own...
Tyson was a massive man, and as strong as they came. Not many could match him in a physical confrontation, but he never usually flaunted it, rather, he carried himself with a jovial candour. His men liked working beneath him because he wasn't as strict as some Rocket leaders.
Yet, there was also another side to his personality, one that he tried his hardest not to show around his subordinates. He could play the role well but that didn't make him any less of a ruthless Rocket Elite...
"Is that so?" He asked, not raising his voice, keeping a cool demeanour.
"No Executive's meant to be here. Did they give you a name? What did they look like? What did they want?" He asked directly, his eyes piercing the grunt's own, unable to look away. "O-Oh, we didn't get a name. W-Well, there were three of them, some kid, an older guy, he had a foreign look to him, and a clown. T-They had Pokémon to put away in the storage, that's what they he told us..." It was almost like the set-up for a bad punchline, and a few people even started chuckling, believing it to be true.
