I hardly have slept.
The pain, the sharp pain... I still feel it lightly in my shoulder as I weakly open my eyes.
Well, the wet towel did its work, the bleeding has stopped.
But then again, the wound is still there, open and clear.
My suit jacket still is damaged and stained with dried up blood at my shoulder.
Yesterday was a total wreck.
And I don't believe today will be any better...
I lie on the bed, hoping this stupid feeling of pain will ease.
With a wounded shoulder and a destroyed feeling of confidence.
Bastion said he would take me on some activities, but really, I am so demoralized, I don't even know if I will like it.
But then, I really have no choice. I don't know what these activities are going to be, or if it will involve other people in the Dolkar family, I have no idea.
And that feeling of having no idea is a weight on my mind, bringing my positiveness to an all time zero, an amount of negativity I have never felt before.
I lie here, like a fish on dry land, like a farm animal with no farmer to care for it, like a wilted flower in a parched field.
Like a...
Before I can even think further, I hear knocking on the door.
Knocking?
But nobody usually knocks!
Its probably the staff member that is here with my breakfast, but really, i'm going to let them enter themselves.
If they barge in the first time, they can do it a second time.
I try to make loopholes in their way of treating me, hoping they forcefully adapt to me.
And I swear, if its Betty again, GOD HELP ME!
She is gonna slap me again, no doubt! I will always do something wrong to her, no matter what!
I just lie in bed, ignoring the knocks and keep looking miserable.
But then, from behind the door, I hear a... rather soothing female voice...
"Excuse me, pet? Can I come in?"
If that tone tells me anything, its that that is a maid I have not heard of yet.
Its not Betty, that's for sure!
And from the others... I really can't make out who it is!
"Yes?"
I respond, letting whoever it is in.
The door opens, and in comes what I can only explain as... beauty.
Its one of the maids, just like the others, but...
Her voice, her appearance, her flowing silver hair...
I can't help but be forced to place my eyes on looking at her.
If I remember the names of the staff, that is Hannah.
She does not seem to say anything... not too much, that is.
"Good morning, pet. I am Hannah."
"I know... Halsey told me about everyone, but this is indeed the... uh... first time we meet in person."
I stammer.
Her voice... its so soothing...
I hardly can pump out full sentences from my mouth, I am this overwhelmed by her.
