Its been days.
Maybe even weeks, but I can't tell time as its always dark.
Without the sun going up and down, telling when its day or night is very hard.
Sometimes when i'm called to go to bed, it still feels like the middle of the day, and sometimes when I wake up, it feels like its in the middle of the night.
I still sleep when I can, but I feel like crap sometimes when I wake up.
And this morning was no exception.
I feel groggy and a bit stiff.
Maybe its from Bastion and his family feeding of me over the last few days, but its never been this worse.
I'm currently lying on my bed, I feel too weak to get up.
one of the butlers walked in this morning and gave me my permission to leave the room, but I have never actually left.
Life as a pet in this vampire world is pain, and its even more pain when realizing that that book I read said that pet humans have the highest comfort of humans in Transyl.
I sigh.
What surprises me is that Bastion's claim of that my blood levels recover because of the atmosphere seems true.
Every time Bastion or any vampire bites me, I feel weakened and injured, even when they put a towel over my wound, but then they put me to bed, let some fresh air in, and the next morning I might feel groggy, but I never feel like I've lost blood last day.
My blood levels effectively always stabilize, regenerate...
Now I really see why vampires in Transyl keep humans as pets: they are an infinite source of blood if handled with moderation.
The book never specified that.
As I am sunk in my thoughts, suddenly I hear someone, or no, two people run down the hall.
Oh god.
Its Dadadoo and Stinger.
They run inside with their usual active and playful demeanor.
"I'm going first!"
"No, brother, you got to take a drink last time, and papa said we had to take turns!"
"But I want fresh blood now!"
I can't help but slightly chuckle as they banter.
"Hey! Are you..."
Stinger says, before they both say in unison:
"LAUGHING AT US?"
They both get a mischievous grin on their faces.
"That means we get to punish ya!"
I gulp.
I shouldn't have done that.
I should NOT have done that.
Dadadoo then jumps me and pins me tot the bed.
Jesus! For a vampire child who is a foot or two shorter than me, he is really strong!
Is super strength also a vampiric power?
Kerche said I will learn what vampires can do with time, I guess this is what he meant.
And there he goes.
He sinks his fangs into my wound.
Its stings a bit, but I have been bitten so much there that the pain is now the equivalent of getting an injection from a doctor as an adult.
